He checked all of the rooms, just like Carson did. It was identical on his side, just bare rooms. It looked uninhabited. He heard Carson call to him as soon as he finished the last room. Unlike on her side, there was no basement door. He appeared behind her,
"All ready! There was nothing on my side," he shrugged, looking to her.

"Ok, breaching on three! Be ready to follow me! One, two, three!"
On three she kicked the door, causing it to fold in half and fall in. Carson ran down the stairs, shouting "Sheriff's Office, show me your hands!"
But... The one-room basement was empty like all the other rooms, with no furniture or people.
"Well, this is embarrassing," she said quietly "Let's head back out of the house, shall we?"

(P.S. we can create characters now in the side tab.)

After exiting the house, they walked over to the forest.
"Dang, this is just like those horror videos on Youtube! Of course, those are fiction, right?" She said as she walked into the bush, the leaves and twigs crunching beneath her boots.

He laughed, "I guess it is similar to those," he nodded. Just as he was walking behind her, he looked away for a second. When he looked back, he didn't see Carson in sight.

Carson looked down as something wrapped around her leg "What the..." was all she had time to say before she was pulled off into the woods, her gun flying out of her hands. She didn't even get a chance to scream. As she was pulled along, her wings reflexively extended. Suddenly one wing was caught on a tree. Carson flinched as she heard(and felt) the crunching sound of bones breaking. This time, she screamed. Finally, the pain caused her to black out.

(Also, the forest now extends infinitely in all directions, just to make this interesting :) )

To be a master of metaphor is the greatest thing by far. It is the one thing that cannot be learnt from others, and it is also a sign of genius.
