Hey, I just needed to know something quick for school.

An online translator tells me that the german translation for heartbreak is herzenskummer. Another online translation site told me that herzenskummer translates as "heart-wrong". I take it this is an issue with the literal translations, but still the question remains...

Heartbreak in German, anyone?

I haven't the least use for German, usually--its sentence dangling verbs and consonants bother me. ^_~

But I know at least, that heart-broken is "herzzerbrechend".

As to heart-break, I can only assume the translator's being excessively literal. -_-''
