Billy stopped dead in his tracks and turned around to face Jack.
"What did you say?" He asked, flexing his muscles.
Behind him Thomas sneered "you better run" Thomas taunted.

Billy pulls back his coat slightly to reveal part of a revolver gun "why don't you get back to work?"
"Billy, don't do this" Thomas mutters "not again."

Jack backed up with his hands raised to his shoulders.
“Woah, woah, woah. I’m sorry alright.”
Jack swallowed. These guys now terrified him. Why on earth was Billy carrying a revolver? Did all of them carry around a weapon of some sort? Not until this point did Jack realize how little prepared he was for life on sea.
”Well lesson learned I guess, don’t tease the crew.”

Jack sighed,
“I’m sorry alright. Just show me what to do.”

Bill sneered "I don't like your attitude, go figure it out yourself."
He and Thomas walk off laughing.

Jack just stood there, stumped at what to do. Those boys were clearly not going to help him. But he had no idea who else to ask.

The ship began bustling with life as the last of the crew hopped on, preparing for the voyage that was set soon. "Get to your post lad!" Frank shouted at Jack.

"AYE AYE SIR!" Glad for some direction, Jack ran to the ropes that led to the crows nest. He looked up and gulped, that was a long ways up.
Being on this ship was probably the worst idea he had had. But it had been the only option at the time.
Jack took a deep breath and climbed up the ropes to the crows nest. He climbed in as fast as possible, causing him to stumble and fall. Jack brushed him self off.
However the view from up here was spectacular.

The ship pushed off from the dock and began it's voyage to sea.

William continued to mop at the floors, though he was curious about the new sailor. There was something off about him, though William couldn't quite place what.

As the ship pushed off of the dock, a sense of elation and pure giddiness rose up in Jack. He felt like yelling at the top of his lungs but thought better of it. Instead he danced around the pole that stuck up in the middle of the crows nest. He was finally free!!!!

William looked up at the new guy, he was...dancing? What a strange person, William thought to himself as he finished up his cleaning and went back to his room. He grabbed a journal and pen from his bag and began writing.

Shawn stood at the entrance to the crow's nest. He cleared his throat as Jack continued dancing.

Jack lurched to a stop and quickly spun around.
"uh...hello....umm"
How much had this guy seen? What what was he doing here??
