I’ve always loved haikus and acrostic — I don’t have much feedback here besides that I like how some themes are reoccurring — with descriptions of nature. I can really visual every poem!

Black snuffed out the stars
Constellations gone so soon
Planets exploded
There is always something left to love.

The sight
moved me to tears.

My promises wilt
like plants given no water.
You’re disappointed.

16. Cringeworthy

The memories come at just the
wrong moments. Snapping me
out of the present,
throwing me into the past.
Just short flashes, but
they succeed in making me regret
the decisions I made.
Even the smallest occurence
makes me shudder.
There is always something left to love.

over the moon.

Ooh wait a second, is "Untitled" one of those poems you can read top-to-bottom and bottom-to-top? If so, that's super cool!! :DDD

I also enjoyed reading number 15.; the simile is so vivid and neat! Good luck with the rest of NaPo, Valkyria!! ^-^

Thank you, @Spearmint! I really wanted to try mirror poetry, so I’m glad you liked that Untitled!

19. Thank Goodness for Fiction

I wish to escape
this problematic life.
Books give me passion
for the imagination,
painting scenes with their pages.
There is always something left to love.
