Okay, I am starting the WFP now, @WritingPrincess @GodfreysBouillon
https://oasis.sandstorm.io/shared/d2H1z ... 3NeRKXKDDC
(can only hang out for 10-15 mins, just continue on without me, if I think something should be changed, I can bring it up later, and we can decide whether or not we should change it)

Something is wrong with the link of the WFP we used yesterday, so I will just mention everything we made progress on yesterday.
For the timeline and region, I prefer Greece, or the dark ages period. @GodfreysBouillon also liked this idea. What is your take on this, @WritingPrincess .
Also, it would be a good idea to start with a scene from the future, and then be like a few years ago... and then show the story from the starting. Again, your take on this.
And, yeah. Did I miss something?

I don't know much about the Greek times but it'll be fun to learn, thats for sure.
Also, since we are going to be writing one story all together, I think it might be good to look at our talents, and our weaknesses, and assign roles.
For example, I can't write big blocks of flowery writing like JRR Tolkien, but I can write fighting scenes or quick blocks very well.
I also lack the ability to create enticing characters somewhat, but once they are created I can explore them very well.
Also I specialize in all the intricacies and small details in history, and I will strive to make it all historically accurate. I also excel in writing wars or anything related to military, so if we did that I could help tons.

What about you guys? What are you good at? What do you need help with?

The first thing I need help with is to know my strengths and weaknesses. I am so new to writing, I am mostly lost when it comes to figuring out what I do best, or worst. I am trying fantasy, sci-fi, mystery/suspence, romance and now historical fiction. So yeah, any tips on figuring this out?

I'm going to look over a lot of your writing during the Review day, and review some of your works.
That will help me know what you can do.

But I guess the best way to figure it out yourself is just experience, looking back over your writing, and receiving input from others.
I can help you on the last one for sure.

So now that all three of us like the idea of using Greece as the region, I have been researching on Greece, and these are the websites I came across-

Ancient Greek Civilization

Wikipedia- History Of Greece

The Ancient Greek World

I haven't read the whole articles since they are really long, but from what I have read in the starting, and contents page, I think these will be helpful.

Now we have to pick a specific year in the thousands of years of history of Ancient Greece. lol

Well there are a couple time periods that specifically stand out in Ancient Greece, and would make a great backdrop to the story.
1. Persian Invasion

2. Alexander the Great

3. Peloponnesian War

4. Trojan War

Okay then, I guess it is the two of us.
Which period would you like?
As I said, I'm fine with Trojan War or Alexander the Great.
