Break Free with Structured Poetry

The workshop is for anyone who wants to learn more about structured poetry, try their hand at it, and/or rediscover how much fun it can be.
We will cover some of the best things we can do to work with structures and break free from the confining feeling it can give us. Be prepared to learn a lot of tips and tricks to feel comfortable picking up any structure and knowing you can get your message across clearly.
Workshops usually run for about an hour in a WFP and then they turn into a jam, so if you can't make it right away, join us late!
We will also work on:
- Rhyme
- Clarity of message
- Meter
- Breaking the Rules with Structures
This is going to be a great event and everyone is welcome to join no matter their experience with poetry, or their previous knowledge. The workshop will be modeled to you!
