The Edge of Sanity

On the edge a lonely man stands,
Emotions lost, heart in his hands,
Confused look upon his face,
Ran like hell but lost the race.

Trying to regain what is lost,
Was the pleasure worth the cost?
Love is strange, it twists the mind,
Eyes wide open, still I was blind.
End of my rope, nothing left to give,
In pain no more will I live.

Looking down on a bottomless fall,
One choice left, I gave my all.
Giving in I take the leap,
Into the abyss of enless sleep.

Since this is a poem, I'll move it to Other Poetry for now. If you want it somewhere else please tell me. *moved*
