Well, I don't know if this applies to me, but i wrote a poem in like ten minutes in a hurry so here it is. I'm also terrible at poetry so take it with a grain of salt...or maybe some alcohol, lol.

Here it is:

She said she loved him
On the first night they met
It's as true then as it is now
On that you can bet

She said she loved him
When they went on their first date
He wanted to say it back
But he waited too late

She said she loved him
When he began kneeling
He told her, "You may find this bananas,
but I find you quite apeeling."

She said she loved him
After the birth of their daughter
They were rockets only going higher, he thought
Then went to fetch her some water

She said she loved him
and reminded him to get his tie
He hiked happily up the stairs to find it
Never knowing that it was a lie

So, in case you missed it, here's the devices.

Repition: first line of every paragraph
Alliteration: "He hiked happily..."
Pun: "You may find this bananas, but I find you quite apeeling."
Metaphor: "They were rockets only going higher..."

And that's it!

@popsicles she posted the rules on the first page :D

Here's mine. It's Undertale and about a skeleton named Sans @Sheytato:

Spoiler
He stands in Judgement Hall,
He is bad to the bone.
So be careful Chara creature!
She who hesitates,
Disintegrates.

He stands in Judgement Hall,
With a bone to pick with you.
Be careful Chara creature!
You are against someone with a soul
Of cold iron.

He stands in Judgement Hall,
He can feel Papyrus in his bones.
Be careful Chara creature!
You should have never done
Mass monster genocide.

  • Alliteration - "careful Chara creature!" (Chara is pronounced: "Kara")
  • Metaphor - "You are against someone with a soul/ of cold iron." His soul isn't literally made of iron XD
  • Pun - "He is bad to the bone," "with a bone to pick with you," "he can feel Papyrus in his bones." Sans is a skeleton. So, skeleton puns.
  • Repetition - "He stands in Judgement Hall/{Insert pun}/Be careful Chara creature!/{Line}/{Line}"

Yay I did it.

It was a really hard to decision to pick the winner!!! as all the poems, (although not so many entries) were just too great. I had to get help from a friend to help me decide. So the final decision we landed on was!!! (cue the drum rolls please):

@jamgalloway !!!!! and every other person gets 50point for participating.
Vampire before and after death.
