Well, I just got bumped up to instructor. My colors aren't working yet though. So, since posting in squills (I'm still not 100% sure what these are) is part of the requirement, I figured I'd get it out of the way for the next week or what not.

But its not just about me, oh no, it's about NaNoWriMo. The sign ups start tomorrow, apparently. Isn't that a big deal? So, You might want to go sign up for it if you plan on joining the big event. I'm going to. I've never done it before, so it should be pretty fun. I don't think I've ever written 50,000 words.

To better explain NaNoWriMo, I'll try to sum up what it is. You get one month to write a novel. No editing, no rewriting, no reading over. Your goal is to write 50,000 words. Even if its the worst story ever, you wrote 50,000 words, didn't you? That's a lot. It's an experience that I think every writer should try at least once. You could learn so much from it, and once you have written all those words (even if its not 50,000) you'll have the great feeling of accomplishment. And if you do write 50,000, You'll become one of the contest winners. Isn't that great, no one cares how bad it is so long as its long enough! Easiest contest ever

So the sign ups are tomorrow and the writing starts on November 1st. You can go to the NaNoWriMo web site for more information.

I hope my first Squills was up to par!

I'm excited! Although, because the site is American, I can't sign up yet!
