One of the things I always enjoyed watching while I was growing up was A-Team. It was a really silly show, with serious commando missions. Yet it had a quality that made it fun to watch, even after they repeated material.
So, several years later, when I created the SPEW Commandos, I based it off of the A-Team and the Cheat Commandos. Throw in a little YWS madness and you have the SPEW Commandos.
I'm considering writing an actual story using the SPEW Commandos, so keep an eye out.
