Character-Driven Collaboration

Would anyone be interested in participating in a small, character-driven, collaborative project with a focus on how unique personalities interact and how those interactions evolve into relationships?
Ideally, there would be an emphasis on growth and development of characters through an exploration of their interactions with others. Also, I'd really prefer that each person create a new character for this project, rather than using one that's been already completely developed.
The setting is completely undecided, that point can be up for discussion. I'm not opposed to using a sci-fi or fantasy setting, or otherwise.
Lastly, I wouldn't want to do this using only the SB system. I'd like communication and discussion to be a big part of this project.

I would maybe be interested, too, but yes if you do five reviews of other literary works first, you get access to the chat bar, which would make discussion and keeping in touch with the team much easier!

Yeah, PMs could be used, but the chat bar seems more immediate and personal.

In addition, since the website is based completely on the idea of reviewing and helping other members improve their writing, it would just be a good idea to participate in that part of the site as well.

Good point, but it begs the question; "What if I don't want to use the chat bar?"

Actually, I was thinking about setting up a pad or a doc to communicate, as it would be easier to refer back to at a later date. The logistics can be worked out later, it's not imperative. I'll review things at a later time, when I can commit more resources to it and ensure thoroughness.

How about a deserted island?
Would a shipwreck situation be too cliche? Because that would be a great way to bring in unique personalities and force them to interact in order to survive.

I like the sound of this. But I think the deserted island thing is being done enough, just my opinion. I'm all for pad and docs. I love writer pads they're so much fun.

Excellent! Glad to see so much interest. I'll start a brainstorming pad within the next little while here, and we can decide what we're actually going to write about. I should have time on the weekend, and we can start on this. Hooray!
