Hello, blonde dreary-eyed angel
Satire on your cherub features,
I can laugh your fears away
Your brow, so smooth and seamless,
Hold together my childhood God
When he had long crumbled down.
Throne my seat in heaven, whatever
You wish to do –
Tonight we’re setting sail to explore
The darker celestial sights
It was unforeseen that your hands
Would be supple on mine,
Fantasy feather brush my face and
With the pounding of the wings we
Fall in a steady liaison.
Smitten in grace and love,
Unromantic yet unyielding,
You stole my heart,
Seven layers deep in hell,
And crossed the thorns to make
Salvation by my bedside
Earthy, I pen your name on
My tiny hand – a faint heart
Pounding softly on my white skin.
Beatific in the atmosphere,
I found you, sided with the moon
And kissing comets athwart the sky.
Don’t hymn sing, you star-swinger….
Just kiss our human dreams goodbye
Soft laughter settles my soul amongst
Your cloudlike wafts of
Blonde hair and seraph twilight
