I want to hear my lovely peoples lovely voices. But it can't just be singing can it? Nope. You'd need a song!
So, come one, come all to yubbies21's Sing What? Contest!
First step: Write a song, including lyrics. Sounds simple doesn't it?
Second step: Go to http://vocaroo.com/ and record yourself singing. You must have a microphone for this to work. Post the link of you singing your song and a copy of the lyrics here. It can be serious, silly, heart-wrenching, or heart-warming, anything you please. Please keep it PG and respectful.
Third step: Wait for me to judge!
I will judge based on a number of different things:
15 points for originality and creativity
35 points for the lyrics
25 points for how the lyrics fit with the music/melody
25 points for how the lyrics sound as a poem
This will equal a total of 100 points.
Prizes:
1st Place: It takes a lot of gut to do this contest...so...1000 points! (Plus a review of my choice)
2nd Place: 500 points (Plus a gift!)
3rd Place: 300 points
