This is the story they tell at church...

Brother Maru was on fire for God, he was called to be a Pastor and was friends with the Holy Spirit.

He was to be the man holding the Bible in his hand and preaching to the congregation.
Everyone knew that the dreads were cut, the J had stopped and he had done all of this for God.

In Brother Maru’s walk, God gave him the ultimate gift; free will. He made his choices, and decided to be a student. To learn about God.

He got smart, and started questioning God. But that’s not all. He got even smarter, and realized that God had no answers.

Mind putting more details?
For I who am poor have only my dreams
I spread my dreams under your feet . . .

. . . tread softly for you tread on my dreams.

We are masters of our silences, and slaves of our words

Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning.
