Blessings

Take my hand boy,
Let me lead you to the wonders of heaven
Let me show you the jewels of joy
I can take away your pain,
If only you believe
Feast your innocent eyes
On the lives of others
And know that God has blessed you
With more than you know

Overall, I thought this was a very good poem, with a good meaning. Although, I would change the first line to 'Boy, take my hand', because it flows nicer. Having boy at the end sounds more of an afterthought. Also, 'Feast your innocent eyes - On the lives of others' doesn't come across how I think you intended it to. If you could change those things this would be even better.

This was a good poem - it certainly had a touching meaning. I'm only slightly disappointed because it doesn't have the beautiful imagery from all your other poems. But beggars can't be choosers....

Yeah. I wrote this one a couple months ago and I found it while cleaning out my room. I didn't like it at the time but I read it again and liked it so, tada! Thank you for the compliments!

I agree with green_river. I really liked the poem. Especially, the part:

Let me lead you to the wonders of heaven
Let me show you the jewels of joy

I don't know why but that really caught my attention.
