Hello all,
I am, as of today, officially retiring from Young Writers' Society and, as I have been a member of this site for well over three years and a JM for almost the entirety of that time, I want to take a moment to thank you all.
I have seen moderators come and go (myself included) and writers come and go. This website has touched all of them. Most of all, this website inspired me to start my own magazine, which has led to a great push in my aspiring journalism career, as well as making four publications possible.
I want to thank Nate for everything and Rydia for being an admirable example in all she does.
A hats off to Elinor Brynn, BondGirl007, captain.classy and LittlePetRock who were my best friends in my time here.
I will come back to read the great writing here now and again because there are some cracking gems.
Lastly, but by all means not least, I hope in my absence someone else takes up the reigns and makes non-fiction the flagship genre it deserves to be. I have spent much of my time supporting it and hopefully it has helped, for now though, I must go.
