Name: Leomithio Goldbeam (You can just call him Leo.)
Gender: Male
Age(12-60): 23
Appearance: Leo has a tall, slender figure. Despite his goblin features, he stands tall at about 6'2. Leo has an oval-shaped face, and a light green complexion. His light green skin has some very diffuse patterns of plants on it, which can only be seen with supernatural eyes. His hair is thick and falls down his forehead in brown waves. One of his most notable traits is the pair of long, pointy ears sticking out of the hair on each side of the head.
Personality: Leo is a very happy person, despite the capturing of mythical creatures. His green face is often lightened by a cheery smile. Leo's large and flexible ears make him prone to hearing even the most subtle of sounds. With a slender figure and quiet footsteps he is also quite good at passing unnoticed.
History: At birth, Leo was a goblin with no signs of humanity. He was born to two goblin parents, but as a child he was switched with the baby of a human couple by his kind to hopefully grow up to a useful spy. However, the loving couple showered the goblin baby with human kindness which made him almost human, with only few signs of goblinism left.

Appearance (name the characteristics you have of your creature too, if your a scientist then just what you look like.): He has jet black hair and deep red eyes. The demonic characteristics inside of him have affected his appearance. He's really short for a guy his age, standing only at 5'5". His skin is very tan and stays that way all year long. When he wants to, he can sprout wings to fly. They are a deep red color with black veins running along them. Also, if he wants to scare people really bad, he can make a face like a demon and sprout tiny horns at the top of his head.

Personality: living up to the characteristics of the demon inside of him, Maksim is sly and intelligent. He has the ability to persuade others to do what he wants. But he only uses this ability if he really, dearly wants something or is trying to coax someone into "turning to the dark side". When he's around people, he acts like they expect him to act. For example, if he's around superiors he is respectable; if he's around his friends he'll goof off and act like he's having fun even if he isn't. He doesn't really like people in general, but he puts up with them because he knows that is what he needs to do in order to pass as normal.

History (If you know how you became what you are, put that to. For Scientists put why you became a mythical Scientist.): Maksim isn't sure how he got to be a demon, but for as long as he had lived, he knew it. There were times when he tried to fight against it, but the demon inside of him would always come out and do something mischievous. He spent all of his life living with his grandparents. His parents were so appalled by his horrible behavior that they dumped him off at his grandparents' house one day and disappeared. He never knew his parents, but didn't care because his grandparents were the best to him. He loved them despite the demon inside of him.

Appearance: Milo is a gryphon shape shifter. His human form is tall and physically impressive. His eyes in both forms are sharp and frequently make people uncomfortable. His gryphon form has dark colors on the wings.

Personality: Milo is facing some very intense emotions these days, which has made him a very focused and very ruthless sort of character. He is extremely loyal, persistent, and can detect liars.

History: Milo is Mila's mate. She went out flying one day and didn't come back. Milo has been searching for her. Mila may be on the inside trying to get out, but Milo is on the outside trying to get in.

Up for love: Milo is violently in love with Mila.

If the character profile is a good one and it provides multiple opportunities for character and plot development, then what does it matter what the species is? You seem more concerned about character slots than character plots.

Name: Yana

Gender: female

Age: 20

Appearance: Yana is half sea serfant. She is medium height and slender with an unusually smooth porcelain face. She has blue tinted scales that line the edges of her jaw, hairline, and body, and a powerful light and dark blue tail. She has sharp teeth that are blunted when she is on land and thin fins on her joints and back. Her ears, fingers, and toes also are finned, and when she is in water her serfant features become more prominent and grow. She has long curly hair that is a bluish black and big pupils that are a dark auburn.

Personality: Yana is very righteous about right and wrong, but she is very quiet and hesitant around people. She prefers actions to words and would go head on into something with only a sketchy plan in mind. However she never does something stupid; her cleverness gets her out of trouble. She is very genuine when someone gets to know her, and never lies unless she has to.

History: Yana doesn't remember anything when she was very young; its not a tragic story, but a fact. She used to make herself look human and walk around the harbors- even though she would be completely exhausted after two hours. She would swim around the coasts of South America and the Caribbean. She has a deep fear of humans because recently she was caught two times in a fishing net by fisherman and tortured, and one time she was dragged inland where she couldn't get to any water.

Other: She is extremely fast in water and can launch herself up to thirty feet. She can control water and has great hearing and vision, but when she is exposed to extreme heat and dryness or isn't near water for more than a week she begins to hyperventilate. When she's mad her pupils become darker and the whites of her eyes disappear, and she has claws on her hands and feet. She can make herself look human when she concentrates.

"Grandma I'll be back later!" I yell to my grandmother. I shut the door and walk out then soar into the sky. I look all over the place just exploring.

I see some unknown people, like some I never seen before. Swooping down I get a little closer to see what exactly is going on. I flew behind a tree and landed on the ground. I peeked around, they were scientist looking people, well you can only assume by how they were talking and how they looked.

Before I knew it someone grabbed my hands and put something over my mouth. I squirmed and squirmed, it was one of those creepy scientist guys. "Please stop squirming, it will only make matters worse." he says to me. I still kept squirming, he tied my legs and arms up then threw me in the back of a van and locked the outside. I looked around, it was so dark. It felt as though I was in a cage. "Time to get others!" the guy yelled to another. They got in the vehicle and there began all the bumpiness. I hit the back of the car with my tied feet.

I decided Milo needed someone to keep him company. So I made another character to be outside with him I hope it's ok

Name: Qorbyn (pronounced like Corben)

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Appearance: Qorbyn has snowy white hair, pearcing green eyes and porcalin white skin. He stands at 6'1 and is rather lean. If you look closely at his skin, you can see that there are actually very fine scales coating it, so his skin is nearly impenatrable.

Personality: Qorbyn can come across as a bit cold, but not completely heartless. He's got a lot of secrets and he doesn't make any emotional attatchments. He likes adventure and isn't afraid of anything. He's witty and a bit arrogant.
Honestly, there's a warm spark in his ice heart, he's just been raised and trained to be the way he is. But there's a part of him that longs to be honorable and noble.

History: On the other side of the region from the fire dragons, there lives the Ice dragons. They're harsh, critical and have no moral values. After the Fire dragons succeeded in mixing human and dragon DNA, the Ice dragons stole their scientific research, not wanting the fire dragons to have an advantage over them. They tempered with it a bit and created Qorbyn.
Qorbyn has the same problem Dante has, his blood is very shallow. To help protect him from this problem, the dragons were at least able to give him scales for skin so that it would be less likely to get cut. However, Qorbyn's life is very frail. He wears an medalion around his neck that contains a dozen ice gems. As his life goes on, the gems melt. When all of the gems have gone, it means his life span is gone and he will die. There are only two gems left.
Qorbyn has been sent out into the human world as a spy. He works for anyone who pays him. He's known to be a ruthless assasain and stealthy information gatherer.
Right now, he's been sent to learn information about the human labratories that are taking mythical creatures hostage. He runs into Milo and they both work together to get to the labratory.
