The fashion house Prada and Italian publisher Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore have announced a contest called Prada Journal. It's international, and anyone above 18 can enter, and better yet, it's international and you can submit in any language you wish.

Stories need to be roughly 4-8k words, but preferably "a minimum of 10 pages and a maximum of 20 pages on A4-size sheets, each page containing approximately 400 words."

Theme: What are the realities that our eyes give back to us? And how our these realities filtered through lenses.

Check the official site for more details.

ETA: Deadline is June 18th.

Seems pretty cool ^__^

Just to add:

Prize is 5.000(thousand) euros.
Technical issues are subject to Italian laws.
Prada maintains exclusive publishing and editing rights if you win.
If you don't win, you can do what you want with the work, but you must not submit it anywhere else before or during the contest period.

I don't know anything about italian law, but it's a big company and the terms are quite fair to me.
We were born to be amazing.

Now I realize that there is no righteous path, it’s just people trying to do their best in a world where it is far too easy to do your worst.
