~Weeping Cherry Blossom~
Spoiler
I am a cherry blossom,
But I must wilt again.
By day I am admired;
My cheery façade.
I am not known to weep.
Nonetheless I shower the ground
With my withered blooms,
Transparent remains
Of a short-lived happiness
As fragile as my paper thin leaves.
Trembling;
Exposed to sunlight
That looks
Like cheap water colour paints.
It will rain again.
But only at night
When all are asleep.
I do not dream,
Illusions bore me.
But I must wilt again.

With my withered blooms,
Transparent remains
