For some reason when I read something, I see a colour in my head. I've had this for as long as I can remember. Brighter and more saturated colours usually mean its something I like. And a more ochre/bland kind of colour means its usually quite dull.
It usually defines my mood as well depending on the colour.

These colours only just flash in my head, but the longer I read the more vivid I see them in my minds eye.

Does anyone else have this? or is it just me?

It's called synesthesia. ;)
My SPD senses are tingling.

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield.
