Setting

The Archon's Library, more simply known as Sky Library, is actually a cluster of pristine white-washed buildings, built directly on a huge chunk of floating rock, hundreds of kilometers above the Great Ocean. It possesses three main, spacious walkways at the North, East and West. https://www.dropbox.com/s/sjusp6687p7gq ... 31459a.png

Ovid "the Praetor"

Ovid surveyed the library calmly, wind whipping his black cloak and teasing strands of his white hair. Sunlight gleamed against white plaster, and fountains sparkled on the taller buildings.

He had been summoned to the Archon's Library for a battle. The host was mysterious, but there were four other challengers, it seemed. Ovid knew nothing of these challengers, but he assumed they were highly skilled. They'd certainly need to be, to face him. He also knew they were positioned in opposite parts of the city.

He paced forward, slowly, delving into the city itself. Jagged rock outcrops grew like spears from the white tiles, but otherwise things were seamless.

Subconsciously, Ovid put one hand to his blacksnake and another to his knife at his hip. Eyes darting around, breathing evenly, he made his way through the tall, almost identical white buildings.

I stared out onto the walkway, and the clouds surrounding it. Just a single step backwards and I'd be free falling back to the Great Ocean, but that's not what I wanted. I was here for a reason.

I found my blade still in my right hand, as I hadn't gotten around to finding a scabbard for it yet. It wasn't a big problem though, atleast this way I could always know where it was.

I looked around an noticed I was much too exposed. Anyone could be watching me, and the thought of that alone forced me to travel deeper into the city. I didn't stop until I felt surrounded by the white stone buildings. Looking around once more, I noticed the lack of people. I didn't quite know whether to be relieved or disappointed.

I liked fighting, I really did, but today the weather was nice and I had found a lush patch of green grass that even had some nice fragrant flowers. Who'd want to fight a day like this when one could sit in the grass and smell the flowers? Oh, never mind. I'd just have to get my act together, pick up my shield and start looking for the others.

While walking around I decided on my tactics for the fight. Long range weapons = me sticking as close as I can to the person. Short range weapons = me sticking as close as I can to the person. Good plan. Now I just had to find my opponents.

I sniffed the air. Bread? I shrugged and decided to follow the scent. Maybe my opponents were eating fresh bread. Opponent or no opponent, the smell made my mouth water, and I really wanted some bread. I took a steadier hold of my shield, just in case someone would attack me.

Name: Elva See the image.

Age: 27

Build: Lean, muscular. Approx 1.83m. Female. She has long, raggish black hair.

Other: Elva is the first daughter from a long line of Lasterian Warlords. Not only skillful in the craft of blacksmithing the world's most deadly weapons, she also mastered the abilities to wield all weapons she smithed or laid hands upon.

Weaponry: Main weapon, well as the image shows. A spear with a blade. Secondary she has a mean little shield, decorated with sharp blade's on it's front and back. Not just to defend, but to ever be attacking.

****

Walking away from the portal Elva looked around her. Nothing but building's so far. The white gleam was bright and almost painful to the eyes. Walking on between buildings and shade she notice the weak scent of fresh bread being baked.

She was convinced that it would be a trap, just to lure her in. Might be one of her opponent's, trying to take advantage of the hunger of other warriors. Carefully she slipped around the corner, making sure not to be tracked she found her way up in the Southern tower.
Swiftly running up the numerous stair's she finally arrived at the top. Quickly she was able to spot not one but two of her enemies. One was wandering on the walkway whilst the other just seemed to be done resting on a small patch of grass.
