I listen to the others as they talk. Dizmon suggests robbing the diner and I have half a mind to let him. Before giving a say, I go over our expenses in my head again and attempt to estimate whether we'll need any more than we already have.

"Go ahead," I tell him afterwards.

Turning back to my bacon cheeseburger, I take a sip of the root beer I'd ordered and take my time eating. The same old questions run through me head as I do and I wonder whether I'll ever be able to find answers to them.

That's what we're here for. Answers.

I finish my food and drink and sit back, sighing at the mental reminder. Glancing at the clock on the wall, I decide it best for us to get on the move again soon. I look over everyone else and find that they're nearly finished with their meals, Zachary being the exception with his mass amount of food.

How does he even eat all that?

Flashing a smile, I shake my head at him and lean forward with my elbows on the table.

"Once we're all finished, we're going to get going," I announce, "Before we do anything like Dizmon suggested we need to figure out who's driving and lay out the plan for the rest of the way to Los Angeles. When the time comes, we'll decide how to go about what we have to do once we get there. Objections?"

Dizmon

"Go ahead," Ethan tells me. "Once we're all finished, we're going to get going," He announce, "Before we do anything like Dizmon suggested we need to figure out who's driving and lay out the plan for the rest of the way to Los Angeles. When the time comes, we'll decide how to go about what we have to do once we get there. Objections?"

"None, here," I return, as the others murmur their answer. "Can I see the map, we need to plan where to stop." Zachary pulls the map out, and I start to unfold and refold it so it doesn't take up room. I circle several locations suitable to stop at, my hand stops over Death Valley. I wincing in pain as I start to remember something, but it is extremely vague.

"That is where I will start my search for my past if I ever get the chance" I think as the pain subdues.

"I wouldn't mind driving, it seems that some of you are not in good health anyways. Unless someone else wants to." I state. Looking over at Zachary seeing several of his plates empty, while I finished my only one.

"Maybe next time I'll try to out eat him. Maybe." Thinking while I eye my empty glass.

I sigh standing and walking around, it was to early to fall asleep and I needed to wake up, but I could talk to Ethan real quick. He had to be able to see the signs that this Adrian fellow was something more than someone to kill.

"Ethan, you mind if I talked to you for a moment, privately?" I ask.

Ethan looks up at me, surprised somewhat to my question. Others just smiled at what I was saying, getting idea's in there head of what I wanted to talk to him about. I just kept a straight face. Ethan rose from the table and followed me outside, once the door slammed shut.

"Please tell me you realize that we need to capture this Adrain fellow right?" I ask.

I shake my head when Ethan asks if anyone has objections to his plans, then reach into my front pocket for a pale pink ribbon to tie back my hair. Dizmon starts chattering, asking for the map and circling a few things before volunteering to drive.

Driving... Something with that strikes a cord, but I can't quite recall what. More mismatched pieces and things to unearth. I do recall, though, the ability to drive... And the insomnia that plagued me the night before. Had I slept well before all of this happened? I wasn't sure.

May as well use it for something now, thought.

"I could probably take driving for the later shift. I have a feeling I won't be sleeping much." I allow my lips to tip up into the faintest of smiles, then reach out to Dizmon and the map, "But can I have a look at what you have marked? It'll be hard to see in the dark."

He gives the sheet a glance, then hands it to me. Something in his mannerisms suggests a sort of... Dread, maybe? Curiosity? Something.

I shrug that off, though, and go to work looking at the map. A few places are circled, one most notable being the infamous Death Valley.

Another nod. Not too bad a route, but no route could be the best when reaching the destination meant murder.

Dizmon takes driving the first shift and Winter offers to take the second. With that set, I'm pulled aside by Rose and asked to speak privately. The others smile, though I honestly don't know what for, nor do I have any desire to find out. I nod and stand, following her outside. The door slams behind us before I turn to her.

"Please tell me you realize that we need to capture this Adrian fellow right?" she asks.

I sigh, reminded of the reasoning behind my pushing topics such as that until we had to deal with them firsthand. I don't know what to do.

"We'll do what we have to do when the time comes," I answer, "And, right now, we're not doing anything with the target. When a decision is necessary, I'll inform the group."

Part of me wonders why she brought this up.

"But what did you find?" I ask, glancing back at the others to find Winter studying the map and the two boys making uncomfortable small talk.

"Not much, whoever this Adrian guy is, he must make a lot of enemies, cause a lot of his information is kept private. But that's not what bothers me, what bothers me is that we were sent after a civilian, not some high profile killer, and I'm almost willing to bet that our real enemy is that guy we saw before we left." I said.

Ethan's look was one of disbelief, but at the same time, one like he was thinking about it also, the chance that we were sent to kill someone completely innocent. I waited a few seconds.

"Ethan, this guy has no felnoys, no violations, no nothing that could make him wanted by the goverment, or any other organization." I said quickly.

"We have no real reason other than what that man told us to go after him, I want to head back, confront our mysterious man who seems to know us all." I said.

I study her, considering it, before coming to my senses and shaking my head. Even if we did go back, who's to say that--if what she says is true--we won't be the next on their target list?

"No," I tell her. "We're not going back until we're sure. We're headed to Los Angeles and we're confronting Adrian what's-his-face. Then, if you're right, we'll deal with everything when we have to."

I glance back inside and sigh, fingering the door. Something makes me nervous about leaving them alone...

"C'mon, we've been away from the group long enough," I say.

Opening the door, I motion her to go first before following her back to the table.

Dizmon

After they finished their meals and got most of what had been on their mind, Dizmon went about stealing the money necessary. He was able to take the money unnoticed, while the others got in the car. After he was done, he left jumping into the driver's seat. Moments later they were on the road heading for the first stop. He turned on the music so it was barely heard behind the front seats, a few were trying to sleep so he was being nice. He looked in his passenger seat, "So do you remember anything?" he asked.
