There's no Place like YWS

I don't think it's said often enough but I'm saying it now: I am proud to be a member of this site and proud of each and every member we have. There is not a more welcoming community anywhere on the world wide web and if there is, I haven't found it yet. Every now and then I sign up for another writing site, just to test the waters and to check out the competition and the latest I've found actually made me feel very unwelcome. I'm not going to name any names as one bad experience doesn't make a site, but seriously you guys. They made me sad. So long live YWS and please remember everyone, it's vulnerable when you're a new member, no matter how many other sites you've been on before. And it takes only a minute to go down to the welcome forum and say a big hello to those new people waiting to be a part of our community!

When I first joined in...I was horrible. Now that i look back at my works I can say confidently that I have improved.
And this all happened because of YWS.......Long live YWS!!

In my opinion YWS is the only writing site that really -and I mean REALLY- improves your writing. If you want praise for your writing then go ahead and join any of the long list of "writing sites". But if you actually intend to get better then I think this is the place, the people here are honest (but not in a scary, rude mean way

) and they actually review your work because they want to help you, or just because they loved it.

I think everyone here is amazing as well. All the people here are probably the most of the most intelligent, well humoured and inspiring bunch of 13- 25 year olds you could ever hope to meet.
