Sorry for my tardiness...my internet's been funky.

Micah--

I'd been standing in the shadows near one of the entrances to the arena, watching the teams form and taking in everyone's skills. An illusion of me stood on the other side of the arena, which kept people from looking my way. By now, two teams had formed, leaving only one partially formed team. Three girls, one guy. From what I'd seen, there were a fire and an ice mage, the latter of which was also of elven descent. The Sword, who was brazen and loud, as is typical, looked to be part Avariel. All in all, there seems to be plenty of attitude to go around, actually. I grin and nod to myself. These are my team members.
I start walking towards them and let the illusion-me on the other side of the arena fade out. Having thought the illusion was reality, the four start when they see it gone and me approaching them from the other side. They regard me warily, but allow me to get near. I nod at all of them in greeting and grin.

"It would seem that you're in need of a Shield," I say, noting the varied smirks and sneers that this statement gets. The Sword speaks first, barely containing laughter.

"Aren't you a little, well, scrawny to do much Shield work?" he says, eying my skinny frame.

" if I had a dollar for every time someone had told me that," I say, " I would be a rich man. As it is, I assure you, I am more than capable of handling the utterly moronic and danger-filled situations that you are likely to get yourself into."
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Tallulah-

The minute I had asked for a Shield, our team had both Sword and Shield appear from out of the blue. Quite literally in the Dark winged boy’s case.

“I am very young compared to others of my race” I say, looking to our new found Sword whose arms were still slung about a couple of frightened boys. “But I have found size is a poor way of judging ones abilities.”

I clasp my hands together and breathe on them. As they part, a small dagger of ice is formed. “I am going to be kind and assume one of you is a Shiv. Since underhandedness is their nature, I will forgive one of you. The other I will not.” I flick my wrist, and send the dagger into one of the boys.

Our Sword releases the dead body, as it falls to the floor the other Boy glares at each of us in turn. “If your other teammates were worth their weight in ice, they would have helped you by now.” I tell him. His gaze only hardens, and I turn away from him. The Avian can handle him on his own.

I face the Fae boy “I’ll try my best to keep out of moronic and danger filled situations. On the chance that I fail, I will be looking forward to seeing the extent of your abilities.”

Just thought maybe droppin' in. I see that there's an opening for some Scorpions. Here I go. Hope anyone doesn't mind if I cut in.
Name: Niran Neptune
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Human-Shadow Elemental partial breed
Position: Scorpion Shiv
Appearance: His eyes are dark blue that seem black when he's angry and his hair is black. His hair's no longer than to the top of his neck and kept that way. He wears black for steath, but seems to have a thing for wearing blue. He has a dagger in his left boot (which makes it hard to walk at first, but gets better each time), a bo staff on his back, and a sword on his right hip (he's left-handed). His boots are black leather and half way up to his knees, just enough to hide his dagger. He also carries a sack of stones with him for personal reasons.
Personality: He's the silent type, but that doesn't mean he's mute. Whenever he talks, it's only if someone called for him and needed him on something. Believe it or not, he tends to speak his mind whether he was spoken to or not. However, this kind of thing puts him in a lot of trouble, so he thought that silence would keep him out of trouble. He also stinks at lying. You can tell he's lying if you see him fidgeting with his little sack of stones. It's very hard for him to lie in someone's face without opening his mouth and spilling the truth.
History: Niran is the son of a pottery merchant (mother) and a Shadow Elemental half-breed. He's also their only child, which was hard on his father more than his mother. Niran learned the abilities of telekineisis and invisibility from his father, unknowingly trained to be his father's successor as a Shadow Elemental. His mother died when he was thirteen and his father left soon after the funeral. Niran's been on his own for some time until he graduated, which was no older than eighteen. His father, as far as Niran knew, was one of the lucky Elemental half-breed champions to ever make it this far in life. Niran recently uncovered his ability of hypnosis, but makes use of it by practice on anyone he comes by.
Physical Abilities: His nimble fingers, quick reflexes, and adaptation. This gives him the skills of a thief and makes him a master of their trade at a certain degree. Until this came around, he does this to hone his abilities for any other use.
Magical Abilities: Invisibility, telekinesis, and hypnosis. The latter is used by the use of a small stone that he often plays with to keep his targets busy. He uses hypnosis largely for stealing or execution, which ever one comes first.
Other: Believe it or not, he's up for love.

Niran Neptune | Scorpion Shiv

It was very hard for me to get from one place to the next without getting caught. Invisibility was hard to use more than hypnosis. However, it was either that or lose my head. I couldn't risk that. Not on my father's grave, if he was ever still living. While walking around, I used my bo staff to cause distractions in order to get other people off my back. I had to keep my head on my neck, whether the others say so or not. If I would sacrifice the others, by the gods I would. No one could stop me from advancing. I'd be the first of my father's offspring to advance.
I used my sword to turn invisible and went on my way. As long as I remained unseen, I was safe from anyone who threatened my life.

*Just so the Shiv's know, they are not allowed to just sit on the sidelines. The Arena is entertainment for the masses and so they must perform. Also is it alright if Rydan knew Talia's father.*

Rydan:

Rydan eyed Mort's body with mild distaste. The Spell had shot him through the heart so he was out of the match. He knew the Keystone would keep him alive. Gladiators always attuned to the magical artifacts during a non death-match. The stones were powerful enough that an attuned warrior could even regrow his head, given enough time. Rydan knew that for a fact, he'd done it in training.

Bald tensed, probably preparing magic of his own. Rydan ran his sword over the boys neck, slitting his throat in one smooth movement. He took a step back, skirting the body as he came to stand beside his newfound team mates. Lifting his wings slightly so that they would drag through the pool of blood.

He surveyed the battlefield and smirked as the teams began getting into formation. Rydan knew the team with only three members was desceptively weaker. Mort and Bald had been expendable to them. He said nothing, keeping his eyes on Talia. It was the Stratego's job to assess the situation and this was, after all, their final exam.

Oh please, sitting on the sidelines is not what I made Angel for. If she really wanted she'd could kick Rydan's rear end no problem. I'll post when I can, currently on my PS3 and I have a character limet on it.

Micah--

The two boys lay bleeding on the ground, and I can't help but feel a pang of guilt at their deaths. But I have been training for this for years, and I can't let my emotions get the better of me now. There are still two teams left, besides us, though one has only three members. Rydan is looking to Talia for a plan, and I roll my eyes. Of course I got put with a Sword who can't think up a plan for himself. I swallow my pride, however, and wait for Talia's instructions. As she formulates our strategy, I take in the arena.
The audience is not as full as it would be during an official match, but a good number have turned out to see the latest batch of Gladiators-in-training hash it out. I have no doubt that I will survive this day, which is perhaps a foolish assurance, but I can't think any other way. I must live. And I will protect my teammates, with all the strength that I possess.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Niran Neptune | Scorpion Shiv

I snuck up on one of the Lions - the Stratego, more precisely - and went visible. "Hello." Quickly taking a stone from my bag, I played with the stone in front of the person and used my nimble fingers to see what I could snatch. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything. Using my telekinesis, I hit him in the forehead with the stone and sent it back to where I took it from. After that, I went invisible again. The Lions couldn't attack a Scorpion they couldn't see.
I went around as far as I could, then went visible to hit anyone with the rocks in the Arena. I was bored, so I decided to entertain both myself and the masses around me.

Tallulah-

Talia had been hit with a stone by one of the other teams Shivs. The Shiv is an underhanded creature to be sure, but invisibility cannot always save you. He was certainly putting on a show, twirling little pebbles about. Peacocking a bit, are we? Let’s give others a turn.

I close my eyes, raising my arms and spreading my fingers out. I will the heat out of the sand, a thin layer of ice coating the ground. I open my eyes, and see an invisible being causing the ice sheet to crack. I snap my wrist forward and pin the man to a nearby wall.

“I think it is best for you sit the rest of this round out, good sir.” I pick up his stone. “Although, I suppose simply pinning you doesn’t inhibit a Telekinetic.” I felt a tickle at the edge of my mind. “Don’t bother with the Hypnosis invisible one, Spells are trained to block it. I did not kill you; I will put it to your honor to return the favor. Good luck.”

*Rydan isn't a bone head. He's simply taking the measure of his team mates. They are going to be fighting together for years after all. As for openings the Scorpion team still has four slots to fill. Will post soon.*

*Each position has it's own strength and weakness. For example Spell's aren't very athletic and it takes time to cast strong magic. Their are plenty of storybooks with combat scenes. But in this you have to work together.*

Rydan:

Rydan fingered the carved wooden ring he wore on a chain around his neck. He scanned the arena his gaze taking in the whole tableau. "We're going to be in deep trouble soon." He murmured softly, tightening his grip on his sword.

Tulah shot him a glance. "What do you mean? We're doing just fine."

"We're not working together. Everyone is fighting is fighting there own battles." He said.

The teammates who overheard him suddenly looked around them. Taking in the opposing teams that were getting into formation. On the other hand they were just randomly standing around.

Angel

Why hadn't Angel noticed it sooner? Niran was here and Angel was excited to jump him while he didn't notice her. Angel clocked herself and moved in on Niran moving quickly as he played with the rocks, Angel eventually caught up with him where had gone to the top of a tower like rock formation. Angel crept up on him while still clocked, waited a second, and then made herself appear and went.

"Boo!"

Niran took a step back but didn't seem to surprised by Angel, matter of fact Niran folded his arms and looked at her almost disappointingly.

"You won't scare me a second time." He said.

"Aww your no fun Niran." Angel said.

Niran smiled at her as he shock his head, eventually he ruffled Angels hair.

"Your a child at heart you know?" He said.

"I know." Angel said smiling.

Niran Neptune | Scorpion Shiv

I had to chuckle. Angel was quite a child at heart and fellow Shiv as well as a fellow telekinetic. However, my invisibility and hypnosis was rather uncanny for one my age. It's from my father's side of the family that I have those abilities. I played with three stones, then looked at Angel. "Thankfully, you and I are telekinetic. It beats spending too much time being unseen."
Without a second thought, I went invisible and tripped Angel with my bo staff.
I scurried around, letting Angel guess where I might be. I used rocks from the the Arena to hit as many other Lions as I could. What was the point in being in the Arena if I didn't hit someone while I was a child at heart myself? I chucked several rocks all around.

Sorry for cuttin in, thought this looked cool and wanted to join in.
Name: Keith Wolflock
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Race: Elf
Position: Scorpion Spell
Appearance: His eyes are a bright green, his hair is golden with streaks of brown. His hair is just below his shoulders. He wears a white long sleeve shirt with a nice tan vest, around his neck is a family heirloom that is suspected to be his mother’s, an ebon black bow is strung across his back, also a cold iron dagger concealed behind him back at the waist. His boots are brown leather and soft soled to prevent noise.
Personality: Keith is naturally shy, cowering away from most who approach him. He tries his best to be helpful to those in need. Keith uses manners no matter who he is addressed by. He also feels it necessary to protect his allies at any cost.
History: Keith doesn’t know much about his parents, well actually he doesn’t know them. He was found at the edge of a forest, covered by the earth. A human found him and cared for him as his own, training him to be an excellent marksmanship like himself. When Keith was a child he destroyed half of a house creating a large earth spike through it. He was later trained to control his abilities, and taught to use them appropriately.
Physical Abilities: Keith being train with a bow is excellent in long ranged combat. He is fairly quick and strong but hates melee fight avoiding at all cost.
Magical Abilities: His manipulation of earth is by far the best, using it mostly for defense or crafty traps. The fact is he can’t rely on just one type of magic, so he has tampered with the other schools.
Other: He hopes to win and find his true parents.

Keith:

As everyone shuffles to make teams, I hide in what shadows are around. I will the sand to harden around my skin, no sense in waiting till I get charged at to do so. Walking slowly around the edge, I stop seeing two dead bodies. Shocked that groups had already started killing. I dash back to the spot I had started at, and began to look for someone to group with. For now I'll wait, pulling the bow of my back and nocking an earthen arrow made from the sand. Seeing several rocks flying about the arena, he forces them to return to the owner in attempt to hurt him.
This is our routine. Day and night, all we do is survive; it never lets up. He tells me how these streets were crowded with people just going about their lives.. must've been nice.~Ellie
