Hello all!

I haven't written anything in quite a long time. I'm just curious if anyone here has any good ideas for getting back into it. I'm dying to write something, but all of my ideas are falling short.

I always find my self caught up in other stuff (by choice) over writing, and it's not that I don't enjoy it, but I can't get that first sentence down to "keep me in." So, any suggestions?

(If the question seems vacant, see title ;D)

Read things.

Play with things. Go to movies. Have a party. Eat delicious food. Meet people. Act random. Go travel. Get a pet. Take a class. Draw something. Or sculpt something. Play an instrument. Take the bus. Or a train. Make money. Go shopping. Go out places. Karaoke! Chase a dog. Have a picnic. Make a fire. Throw things in the fire. Take a walk. Or a jog. Watch the sunset. Chart the stars. Collect things. Ride a horse. Take a bath. Watch people. Listen to people. Talk to people. Be a friend. Be yourself. Volunteer.

Go live life. Then come back and write.

"Make a fire. Throw things in the fire." #Winning. No but really two of the best things for me have always been reading and reading my old writing. You dont need to copy what you read or rework your old writing but these two things have always served to inspire me.

Despite everything, it's still you.
