Isle of Night: The Rebellion (Started still accepting)

The year is 2022, life is offering fewer and fewer options so what's a girl to do besides join the dead. On a mysterious island called the Isle of Night beautiful females are recruited and pitted against each other to become Watcher-girls who are partnered with vampires to assist them in missions. To survive and become a watcher you have to beat out every other girl because to fail doesn't mean dishonorment - it means death. All of the vampires on the island are male. Female students (known as Acari) are half vampires and are trained to be watchers and male students are trained to be vampires.

At the Isle of Night some of the acari are tired of training to assist the vampires, they want to be free to live their lives and are planning to revolt against the vampires. Some studuents are enjoying their traing and don't want to go back to the horrible lives they once knew, they side with the vampires. Whose side are you on?

He is very tall and has a lean but muscular build. He has long brown hair that he often keeps in a ponytail and piercing green eyes. He wears darks colors to contrast his pale skin.
Personality: Master Jeremiah is a reserved person. He is also really serious just as the other vampires but he is very easily amused. He comes of as mean but he is actually very nice and caring although he doesn't often show it.
History: Jeremiah was recruited at the age of 15 to the Isle of Night and was an exceptionally skilled student from the get go. He was found after he ran away from his abusive stepfather. He is a very skilled fighter and healer.
Up for love: Yes
Other: Carries around a stake even though they are forbidden.

Name: Nicholas Neilsen
Age: 5475 appears 45
Appearence: He is a very tall, skinny man. He has broad shoulders and shoulder length curly hair. His eyes are brown.
Personality: Master Nicholas is a very serious man and has a low tolerance for rule breakers. He is know for the scowl that is always on his face.
History: Not much is known about his history except that he is an original vampire and very powerful.
Up for love: No
Other: He only makes appearences when addressing the students, the rules are being broken, or you are called into his office.

Name: Meg Hall
Age:19
Appearence: She has curly black hair with deep blue eyes. Her skin is really tan and she has a good complexion.
Personality: She is a very blunt person and will speak her mind. She is not one you would want to cross, because she is really good at getting inside your head and messing with you. She gets what she wants when she wants it and do not try to stop her. If you do, you might not make to see another day.
History: She grew up with a wealthy family and she had to be tough. He parents we always fighting, so she had to fend for herself. She ran away when she was sixteen and did not look back.
Up for love: heck no.
Other: She is very intelligent and uses that to her advantage.
Skills/Weapons: She is very good at fighting and like to use daggers

Name: Vesta Rose “V.R.” Argene
Age: 16

Appearence: V.R. has a mess of hair that has prematurely turned white due to stress that is usually kept up. She has green eyes and usually wears a pair of gloves; in fact she has quite a few pairs. Vesta also has a set of brass knuckles on her right hands, preferring up close combat to distance. Her cloths have a sweet antique appearance but are surprisingly versatile, at least for her they are. Vest would be rather uncomfortable in any other type of clothing. She has traded her skirts for a proper pair of shorts, and keeps a knife strapped to her leg just in case.

Personality: Vesta has a lack of apathy. She just can’t bring herself to pity others, and it mostly has to do with lack of socialization though out her life. She’s tough and aggressive. V.R. also shows signs of being a bit sadistic and hot headed. She likes inflicting pain on others, as it makes her feel better. V. Rose is fiercely independent and a bit of a loner. She doesn’t like being around anyone really, and has difficulty talking to others. If she likes you, she’ll tell you straight up, and is very honest about her feelings.

History: Vesta Rose Argene was born to a very wealthy, very sick human mother. As such, Vesta behaves with a sense of aristocracy. She had spent her entire life being sheltered, never leaving the grounds of her family’s manor. Not too long after the world went to hell, Vest’s mother died, and with no known relatives was sent to an orphanage. However, it was soon ransacked and no longer safe to live in. V.R. ran off traveling around on her own, slowly becoming less naïve and more battle ready. The constant stress caused her hair to turn white. After a few years, Vesta caught wind that her biological father was still out there. When she found him, he soon shipped her off to the isle.

Other: Had a half-sister who had also been sent to the isle, but ended up dying some time before V.R. came to the island.

Name: Jessica Dominate
Age: 18
Appearance : She is tall and very muscular with cold storm gray eyes. She has long black hair with streaks of violet died in. She normally wears simple tee shirts (preferably black) and jeans.

Personality: Jessica is cold and calculating. She dose her best to avoid others at all time and would rather work alone than with anyone. Jessica is always somewhat angry at the world (due to her horrible childhood) and could care less of what people think of her. She is incredibly intelligent to the point of genius but very few know this; in fact, few know anything about her at all.
History: Jessica was abused as a child by both of her parents. She was hit and beaten for the first ten years of her life until she ran away from home. After she ran away, she became very hard and learned quickly how to defend herself. She became a thief but unfortunately stole from the wrong person. With the mob thugs after her, she found sanctity at the Isle. She has never had any friends and is not looking for them.
Up for love: Yes but it will be difficult with all of her emotional problems
Other: Jessica, unlike most, has very little qualms with killing. She doesn't particularly want to kill and has no desire to see blood but to be honest, to kill, all she has to do is image the victim as one of her parents.
Skills/Weapons: Jessica has spent most of her life on the streets and that has made her strong. She is stealthy, silent and deadly. She has all but mastered the art of knife throwing and knows how to calculate the weaknesses of her opponent in seconds. Worst of all, she knows how to play mind games and drive someone to madness.
Side: She sides with the vampires solely because she wants to preserve her life. If she feels the resistance has a shot then she may consider joining.

Name: Angelica Cote

Age: 17

Appearence: Short with black hair and sea green eyes, clear finger nails and pure white teeth. Wears a tank top with a leather black half jacket and tight solid black jeans, wearing fingerless red leather gloves and shades. Has ruby lipstick on most of the time sometimes switching to black and sometimes gloss.

Personality: Angelica is brutal and harsh, she cares for mainly herself and enjoys her life as an Acari, The sport of fighting to the death has made her a favor among the other vampires and Acari as well. Using everything and anything available to her she has a favor of the spear, and after preforming so greatly she was gifted a double sided spear in which only makes her more dangerous.

History: Angelica was born and raised on the Isle watching women fighting it out and serving her father and mother, soon trained to fight like a champion she crushed all who have stood before her. And please her vampire masters, but there is a different side to Angelica, more than meets the eye as Angelica is rumored to be stronger than Master Nickolas despite the power of he holds. Others rumor there is a secret relationship between her and Master Nickolas, but all and all, shes Nickolas attack dog and she'll kill anyone shes ordered to kill. She has a friend and rival, named Axel. Who is just as brutal and harsh as she is, when these two fight they eventually draw blood from one another in a harsh a gruesome battle in which makes for an epic battle in the skies of the Isle of Night the battle always ending in a draw, he is a friend to her but also her rival. Never underestimate what these two could do together, blood is surely in the mix with these two together.

Skills/Weapons: Her favorite weapon is the spear, a double sided spear that was gifted to her as a sign of recognition of her strength in battle. She is as strong in combat as Master Nickolas and she is his attack dog, always on watch for orders to kill those who shes ordered to.

Ready 'r not, here I come. I'm takin' the spotlight for a male vamp.

Name: Axel Pyro Bloodstone
Age: Appears 20, actually 4040
Appearence: A green-eyed man with long blonde hair. His hair is exactly waist-length, but always seen tied in a fishtail braid. Never seen without his black muscle shirt, matching jean pants, and leather vest. Edgy, yes, but it's his style. He also has a pendant with him that's shown to prove his pride in balance and strength.

This shows his belief that balance is a part of life and takes pride in Social Darwinism - only the fittest can survive.
Personality: He's hard on those he considered weaklings, but maintains a strong belief in balance and Social Darwinism. He has an edge look because he considers it to be the height of fashion in this decade. Due to his age, he's intellient and more of a school bad boy type of vampire. His temper is similar to the animals on his pendant, but there's only one way to trigger it. He really hates it when someone calls him Blondie or Goldilocks. Call him any of those and you might find your room trashed up the next day. That's how he retaliates.
History: Axel was the only son of an herbal healer (mother) and a priest (father). He had a happy life with his family until his father died when he was eight and his mother remarried to a rich man. His rich stepfather hated him so much, Axel was abused in any possible way to the point where he ran away from home at eighteen years old. He spent two years on the road with no one else to care for but himself until a vampire took him in and turned him. After being turned, he's been wandering the world with his maker until Axel himself was 4000 years old. By then, his maker was gone and Axel was in his current attire. He's been on the Isle of Night for forty years and counting, keeping most of his travels to himself and doing his hardest to give the girls around the Isle a hard life similar to the one his stepfather gave him as a mortal.
Up for love: Yes, but you'll have to get past his edge look and temper problem. He's bi.
Other: He's a sucker for literature. He's often found reading a book either by Edgar Allen Poe or Stephen King, his personally favorite authors. He also has a "friendly rivalry" with Angelica. When they first met, he's been attempting to show the other Watchers what it means to mess with him. When it came to battle, Axel and Angelica would give each other a taste of metal until it becomes a draw. On the other hand, Axel seemed to know when to quit before the battle got too bloody. If that ever happens, he would ask for a truce. While outside battle, they often talk like they knew each other for life.

Appearence: He is tall and lanky with brown hair and eyes.
Personality: He is a serious but cool teacher.
Up for love: It's up to you.
Teacher: Medicine - treating wounds, how to identify healing herbs, etc.

Name: Declon O' Reily
Age: 231 appears 29
Appearence: He is tall and very muscular. He has shoulder-length red hair that he keeps in a ponytail and piercing green eyes.
Personality: He is a very serious and harsh teacher with no patience for lazy Acari.

Name: Xavier Kenmore
Age: 377 appears 40
Appearence: He has long dark hair and blues eyes. He is tall and slim, has the body of a dancer.
Personality. Master Xavier is a very respectful man and in turn he is very respected. He is a persistant and spontaneous teacher.

I'll take a trainee, will post profile in a couple of days. Also a few quick questions, I assume the Isle isn't public knowledge so are there random Vampires recruiting? If not how are new people recruited?

To answer that question there are special vampires called "finders" that seek out new recruits.
I have been delaying the start of this storybook for a while so I think it should start on Tuesday.

I entered the cafeteria of the Isle of Night where groups of Acari and trainees waited. As soon as I entered the room all chatter died. I nodded at my fellow colleagues then turned to address the students.
"Welcome students, you are all here for a reason. Whether that reason be to become a Watcher or to be trained to become vampire. You will not be babied here, if you fail to accomplish what is expected of you, wel then be prepaired to suffer the consequences. I will say this once and once only there shall be no violence outside of the arena and there will be no leaving of the island! Do I make myself clear?" Allof the students nodded.
"Good, you will each have you own rooms. The doors are labeled with your names so there should be no confusion. All of the Acari will have mentors, you will be respectful if you are not… well there will be a punishment. You are to report to everyone of your classes unless you dying or excused. I will return later to check up on you. Enjoy your dinner. Oh before I forget, everyone is expected to have the regulated amount of blood with every meal. This amount is not to be exceeded. Goodnight." I said walking out of the room.
