Currently undefined number in an undefined place (Open!)

Have any of you read Enid Blyton? I don't know if you get Enid Blyton in America/ Canada/ wherever-else-you-are-that-isn't-the-uk, but she's really cool.
Her books include Mallory Towers, Twins at St. Claire's, Famous Five, Secret Seven.
This is a Famous Five-type storybook, so the characters have got to be upper-middle-class and say, "Spiffing!", "Smashing!", "Jolly gumdrops!", "Old chap!", "You're a brick!" etc. lots while solving mysteries and doing ridiculously dangerous things like running into rings of smugglers (and not getting killed), being patronising to (incompetent) policemen and drinking LOTS of ginger beer.

Location-
The family country home? A small sea-side hotel? You guys decide. I recommend something near the sea...

Appearance: She has long, curly, blonde hair and has eyes that are a chocolate brown. She is slender and about 5'6.

Personality: She is smart and does well in school. She does not try very hard, but always does well. Adeline is good at picking out the important parts of things and good at drawing conclusions. She cares a lot about her family and would do anything for them. She is also trustworthy.

Age: 15

Appearance: Isabelle stands at five and a half feet, and has a graceful build. She has curly auburn hair, usually tied up in a bun, and cinnamon brown eyes. She usually wears some sort of blouse or button-up shirt, and a short skirt with pockets.

Personality: Isabelle is very independent. She has a "good girl" act that she puts on at school, but this is mostly so that people will trust her. In reality, she has an uncontrollable rebellious streak, and there isn't much she won't do. She's quite resourceful, and she almost always gets what she wants. Her friends can trust her with anything, but around enemies, she's completely unpredictable.

Digby is tall for his age and rather scrawny, with short blonde hair and big round glasses. His features are still quite boyish, despite his thinking himself quite a grown-up.
Personality: He considers himself far too smart to be running around with other children, but is quietly intrigued by the mysteries they find themselves tangled up in. When he is at home, one would normally find him buried in his studies, and if he has no homework to do, he'll have his nose in a book.
