Basically, I know as well as anyone that sometimes, for whatever reason, you don't want to put your real name to your work. But it can be hard to create a believable name and personna to match. That's where this topic comes in.
Chat and generally socialise as your alternate self to help make it more believable, and also for the fun of it (of course!)
See you there- or here!

Because I know it can be hard to know what to put, here's a quick question to get those conversational juices flowing!

Okay, so first off, what's your "name"?
What have you written?
And who is the creative force behind the works?

I'll start:
My "name" is Arabella Frost, I'm in the process of writing a philosophical story about two men in 19th century London who do lots of debating and stuff, a 19th century detective story, and (you guessed it!) a 19th century Crimean war novel. I have actually finished a Sherlock Holmes fanfic story, which I'm pretty proud of! A little about me: my aim in life is to be a thinker. Never take anything at face value! Oh, and my personal maxim is that whatever you are worried about is going to happen, whether you worry or not. In fact, worry will probably make it go worse, if you're involved! So relax, and go with it!

My name is Ahmad Ridiculously-Long-surname and I'm writing a novel about power and revenge and how an ex-president tries to get it back.

I wrote a terrible novel 2 years ago about terrorists and stuff like that. No need to go further xD

The creative force behind the work is me, trying to find a way to escape and enjoy myself thorough my characters. It's how I escape from the horrors of the world around me and if it weren't for writing, I would probably in depression right now. ^^

"Matthew Von Prince" is a very different person than Matthew W. He is much more arrogant("confident" is the word we use nowadays right?) he can also be very confrontational and critical. The basic concept is to build a character that some love and some hate but everyone has an opinion on. I have no problem trashing JK Rowling or Christopher Paolini if that means a few more eyeballs on my writing. And I have no problem telling people that they can get on the MVP bandwagon now or they can get on later but they will get on.
