Describe movies that you almost hated. These are the movies that would've been terrible if it weren't for a few minor/major things.

For example: A movie I almost hated was "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World". On paper, it seems like a poorly written film due to the fact that the plot makes little to no sense, and all of the characters seem to revolve around Scott (then again, that may have been the point). However, it was the impressive visuals, hilarious dialogue, and the fact that the entire thing seemed like a parody is what made this movie great and my third favorite movie of all time.

Grave of the fireflies and titanic.

In both It ended with deaths. Before that there was false hope that the charecers would survive, so when they died...I don't like very sad endings.
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? (29:2)

Anne of Green Gables.

Because they squished a bunch of chapters in one scene, and it annoyed me.
Buuut there were those funny scenes which made up for it.

I almost hated Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos for the following reasons:

Spoiler
-Most characters you came to see are barely in it

-The plot starts promising with a new artifact called Milos' Star, and the- "In our land, we call that the Philosopher's Stone!" URHGHH NO. NO! YOU'VE HAD TWO ANIMES, PHILOSOPHER'S STONE, WE'VE SEEN ENOUGH OF YOU

-Alchemy use was really weak. Especially that force lightning style alchemy. >_>

-The plot doesn't really resolve itself... just goes back to square one. Also the plot was boring.

-The werewolves were barely in the movie! D:

-Swallowing a Philosopher's Stone in this movie makes your eyes turn red, it devours your soul and gives you force lightning. >___>

-There was little to no comedic moments. It was serious from start to ending, man.

But that hint of Julia x Alphonse was adorable, and made me at least willing to re-watch the movie someday. (the animation was okay I guess)

But then I realized that Alphonse gets with May and thus Julia x Alphonse never happens. You know what? I DO hate this movie.

Well, there aren't really any movies I almost hated, just movies I liked or didn't like or hated. I really hated the movie version of PJO, they got so many things wrong! It would take me too long to write all of the things down, but suffice it to say it was awful.
