Quick note: Third person posts please! And we begin with the monsters attacking someone. So, this SB will begin with Italian I llluminists posts. Then I'll post, followed by the rest of the new members, arriving in town, making introductory posts. After that we'll have a second attack, and they'll get on the mystery! Member of the Third Mystery Inc. need to post in first person. If that's okay.

Appearance: (I would like a picture!) Spears is short, and hilariously skinny. He has a round nose and a petite mouth. He has piercing blue eyes and bushy eyebrows. His hair is messy, dark blonde and hasn't been washed in...a while. He has lots of freckles. He is straight out ugly. The ugliest brute you've ever seen. His face looks like a decomposed mushroom. He likes to wear a blue singlet and show off his muscles that aren't there. He wears black board shorts and pink little girls things he found on the same beach he found his board shorts on. (I don't have a picture, but if I get accepted, I'll draw him and send him ASAP. As said, I am on holidays.)
Personality: Despite his ugliness, Spears is a charmer. He makes your heart melt as soon as he smiles and the decomposed mushroom turns into a beautiful rose. He is caring, and emotional, but loves an adventure. The ladies just want to fall into his arms when he smiles. He is quite courageous, but a bit of a dimwit. He gets lost in his own home. He is quite weak but when with others he is terribly strong.
History: Spears was born in New York City in 1990. His parents were both Australians but moved to the States in 1985. Spears was a heavy, and ugly baby. But to his parents, he was a shining star. He met Shaggy when he was 4 and was in kindergarten. They went through school together, the idiot and he mushroom. They both didn't graduate but left school and lived together in New York as bellboys at a hotel. When Spears was 19 he got all how money and flew to Australia to see where his parents come from. He kept in touch with Shaggy until his 21st birthday, when he received an email saying Shaggy had met three people and a dog named Scooby. Spears never heard anything from Shaggy until a couple of weeks ago when he received an invitation from Shaggy. Spears flew straight to his home town (New York).
Extra: He is not up for love but is interested in women. He has an Australian accent from living in Australia for three years and being brought up by people with Aussie accents. He has a bracelet on his right wrist that says: Shag & Spears
There is no such thing as a stranger. Only friends we haven't met yet.
Nah! That's okay. Forget the picture, it was sur of the moment thing. XD
By the ay, Italian. I forgot to mention that in case of the villains, knowing their prsonality is kinda useless to the gang... That's the only reason I didn't mention it. Feel free to put it in the 'Extra' bit for the rest of the villains.

Maggie is a purebred English Setter, and she is very proud of it. She is covered in long, feathery fur especially around her ears and tail. she considers herself very beautiful.
Personality: Maggie is a somewhat snobbish dog. She considers herself high above the other local dogs due to her lineage, her lovely coat, and her ability to talk. She tries very hard to be "Classy" and "Humanish", and is always careful to look poised and well groomed. Of course, she is not a human. She's a dog. Oftentimes, her dog nature will get the best of her and she will go off after a smell, point at birds (her obsession), roll around in something gross, or do any other unhelpful thing.
History: Word got through to Scooby about Maggie's ability to speak by mutual friends. They never actually met, but obviously there wasn't any other dogs around with the skills Scooby was looking for.
Extra: Paws is a shameless flirt and prefers a male master to a female one. She will obey and fawn over men but keeps a scournful opinion of almost all women.
(Hope this is okay! If she's not supposed to talk just tell me and I'll change it.)
When you asked me what Was wrong I wanted for dinner, I said "Nothing". But as I turned away I whispered, "Everything."
Luna, if you don't mind, could you pick a different animal? The ability to talk is a neseccity, so that's alright, but a different animal would be nice. It's your character though, so feel free to refuse. ^^ Also, could you make it that she's met Scooby or knows him personally, please? Thank you.

We'll wait for the profile of Velma's character before we begin. Does anyone have any suggestions? If so, Please post them in the DT.
Name: Stan Lee Nickname: Weaver Invited by: Fred Age: 21
Appearance: Stan's a pretty lazy dresser. He's got a bit of stubble, and wears a pair of old swayed glasses with metal frames. He has red blonde hair, and dark green eyes to match. He's usually seen wearing a pair of loose capris and half sleeved shirts. He usually pairs this off with sandals or slippers.
Personality: Fred and Stan are similar in many ways. Stan's loyal, brave and loves creating and building things, and coincidentally, he loves traps and mysteries. He's never been able to realize what he's got 'til it's gone, and really needs to get his priorities straight. He's open and friendly to most new people, unless you offend him in some way. He normally gets along very well with most people.
History: Stan. Was born on Lake Side Harbour, a town close to Crystal Cove. He had a normal childhood, aside from an unhealthy obsession with traps and LEGO pieces. Fred met Stan at trap camp, in their second summer of high school. Both were assigned to the same team, and somehow ended up dangling from the same tree as a result of failed traps. They got talking and got to know each other better. Even after camp, they kept in touch. So, when Velma suggested calling in a replacement Mystery Inc., he was the first person Fred thought of.
Extra: Aspires to be a LEGO artist.

"Have you any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?" "I shall futterwacken vigorously" ~ Tarrant Hightop, Alice in Wonderland.
Personality: Asher tends to be very shy and have trouble communicating with people. She is what most people consider very above average in intelligence. She loves to figure out puzzles, ask questions and find the answer to those questions. Around people she knows she tends to communicate better. She is a observer, always watching and trying to figure if people are really what they seem to be. She is a good friend and will help her friends no matter what. Also a quick-thinker.
History: Asher was born in the small town of Cayoucs, California. She was often picked on in high school because of her intelligence and her style, which caused her shyness and communication trouble. She met Velma at the National Competition for the Science Fair. They both tied for first in the Nation. After that they started talking and became good friends.
Extra: She writes down everything about every mystery they have ever done, almost like a book...

"Are you sure, Samantha? It's late - don't you want me to accompany you?" Violet was worried. They had returned from a party - it was close to midnight - and Crystal Cove was usually safe... but you never knew. Especially with all those rumors flying about. Samantha laughed, airily. "Oh come on, Violet, you worry too much. It's only a block from here... I'll be fine" Violet looked upset, but she nodded and walked away, not looking back. Soon, though, Samantha's bravado faded. It was one thing to act brave in front of a friend, but another when you were alone, walking through an alley, the cold moon shining down on you. She jumped in fright whenever a cat screeched, and her skin erupted into goosebumps whenever an owl hooted. It's nothing, she reassured herself. Just animals. But still, she was frightened. Her imagination populated each shadow with monsters, eagerly waiting to pounce. Samantha turned a corner, and... a glint of metal, reflecting off of a blade. A scream, cut off abruptly, then, silence.
"Breaking news!, blared the TV reporter. The sun shone high, but Violet's world was grey with grief. Yesterday, at around midnight, Samantha Greene, a student at Crystal Cove high, was found murdered in an alleyway, when she was heading home after a party. The gruesome manner of the murder leads experts to believe that it has to do with the other string of murders that have plagued Crystal Cove for a week now. Stay tuned for more...

Sorry for the cheesy post, and I apologize if I inadvertently used names of existing characters.
Stan was in his room, rearranging his collection of the monthly issues of Trapped! when the letter arrived. The postman insisted on ringing the doorbell repeatedly - for the entirety of the time it took him to get to the door. "Geesh Sam. You couldn't wait, could you?" he asked the uniformed guy.
Sam grinned a him, replying, "Speedy delivery's the motto, Weaver!" "You mean like last month when I received that package I'd been waiting for for a year?" "Yup, exactly that kind!" Both men laughed, as San closed he door. He settled on the couch and began sorting through the letters. There were quite a few junk mails, and only two that were of any real importance. One of them was from the gas company, threatening to cut his gas yet again. The other was sealed with a large letter E and had no distinguishing markings on it. He pulled out the paper and began to read:
Dear Mr. Stan Lee,
You've been invited to Crystal Cove, as part of the third Mystery Inc. One of your friends, the leader of the second Mystery Inc., Fred Jones has gone missing, along with his entire team. It will be your duty to locate them. Be warned though; there are others, who do not wan them found and will do all they can to stop you. You will be aided and abetted by me, Mr E in any way possible. Four other besides you have been invited. Accommodation has been prepared within Crystal Cove - a small villa near the old bowling alley has been rented for your use.
Wait for the others near the local diner. That's your rendezvous point. Then, head to the new mayor's ffice. She'll tell you what you need to know.
The letter was signed Mr. E
He folded the letter, and was about to replace t in the envelope, when he saw a no folded inside. He recognized the handwriting immediately. Opening the not with trembling fingers, he read: Weaver, I can't tell you where we are or where we're going. I'm sorry for thrusting this responsibility on you, but I have no choice. Just before we left, these letters were delivered to our door. He knew we were leaving own, but didn't know where we were going. Don't trust him, whatever you do! It nearly ended my gang. And remember to trust your new teammates. Much pride always, Fred Jones
That was how, a few hours later, Stan found himself waiting outside the local diner in Crystal Cove a few hours later. He was the first one to arrive, being presumably nervous. Fred had been the leader of his gang, and he was to do the same job, presumably.

Ash was sitting on her window seat, staring out at the dreadfully warm day. She had the book Water for Elephants, gripped in her hand and opened to page 394. She had tried to clam her anxiety down by reading, but not luck so far. She had texted Velma a week ago and still no response on her long time friend. She had started to get worried after she had not responded after the first day. on the other hand she also had not other way of getting in touch with Velma. In other words she was stuck.
Lost in her thoughts, Ash didn't realized the door bell ring until the second time. Quickly rushing toward the door, she looked through the peep hole. It was only the mail man, Burt. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door and smiled at him.
"Morning Burt." She greeted with a smile.
"Morning Asher," He greeted "Here is your mail today!"
She just nodded at Burt as he continued down the sidewalk on to the next house. Casually she flipped through it, nothing seemed much important, until she got to a strange letter from a Mr.E. Tearing it open she quickly read the contents.
Dear Mrs. Asher Ryder,
You've been invited to Crystal Cove, as part of the third Mystery Inc. One of your friends, the brains of the second Mystery Inc., Velma Dinkley has gone missing, along with her entire team.
Then, head to the new mayor's office. She'll tell you what you need to know.
Mr. E
Everything was starting to make sense. Without thinking about it, she automatically placed the letter on the counter and went to get her things ready. Within an hour she was on her way to Crystal Cove.
After drving for what felt like forvever, she finally pulled up to the diner. In front of it was a young man with blonde Hair and a slight stubble. He looked like he was waiting for something. Figuring he was one of my new "teammates", she stepped out of the car and approached him. Butterflies started in her stomach as she approached and she started to get nervous. She was behind him moments later.
"Umm, excuse me...are you...waiting for someone?" Her voice was soft, but luckily he heard her and turned around.
