If there was a High Court of my dead characters, I'd be sentenced to die around fifty times. And then stay in prison for life.

...or they could just write me into my own books.

Robin Hobb fans in the house give a holla. She's gosh darn unrelenting.

    All the fail.

    How badly?

    Animal replied · Mar 16, 2013

The heroin Should it be the Heroine

    Cause heroin means Heroin
    Drug
Heroin, also known as diamorphine, and colloquially as H, smack, horse, brown,"Black", MADA, tar, and other names is an opioid analgesic synthesized by C.R. Alder Wright in 1874

Well, I am part time Grammar Nazi for today... *evil*

    MythWriter99 replied · Mar 16, 2013

sorry I messed up with the word heroine, and the main character gets tortured for weeks before she is rescued just before she dies.

    Animal replied · Mar 17, 2013

    No offence meant

    CowLogic replied · Mar 29, 2013

Haha Animal. Time to be foiled by your own hand.

    Its's "offense."

  • sparkle1pops replied · Mar 9, 2013

    Awful

    Rosendorn replied · Mar 9, 2013

Now, do you mean that sarcastically, or not? ;P

  • Rosendorn replied · Mar 7, 2013

More than happy to obligee. :3

This is very weird. My best friend and I went to see a thriller instead of the horror movie she wanted to see that was 18+ and halfway through the movie, when a gangster strangles his buddy, she couldn't look! O.O If she couldn't stand watching a bloodless kill, then how will she manage in an eighteen-up-horror, pray tell?

  • penguinduan1
I enjoy reading something that has to do with blood. My friends think I'm crazy. Obviously, since there are more people in the club, I'm not the only one. Go pain!

    Master_Yoda replied · Jan 21, 2011

No. People who write blood are authors. People who read blood are sadists. :P

    Alpha replied · Jan 23, 2011

That was kind of harsh wasn't it? APOLOGIZE TO EVANS...er, I mean PENGUINDUAN1!

    Rosendorn replied · Jan 23, 2011

Actually, not that harsh. This is the club for those who are actively evil in crafting plots, not evil in what they read.

But for best results in writing evil things, you must read evil things too. There must be a source for all that evilness.

character torture, what isn't to like in there, after all, a little bit of pain is needed in every story

  • Kafkaescence replied · Jan 19, 2011

Is being "electroted" something like being "electrocuted?" If so, much congratulations on your part for getting her into that situation! I'm sure electrotion is even more evil then electrocution! Spectacular.

    silentpages replied · Jan 19, 2011

I wondered that, too. Then I realized that it means she'll be electrocuted until she goes limp, and then toted around on the shoulder of a big hairy muscle-man from the circus.VERY evil.

    Alpha replied · Jan 20, 2011

Haha... The "electroted" thing was a spelling mistake, you two.

    silentpages replied · Jan 20, 2011

Still. Electrocution plus circus muscle man shoulder-toting equals VERY evil. Just roll with it.

    Kafkaescence replied · Jan 21, 2011

Or maybe it's being electrocuted violently, and then being knocked unconscious in the head with a tote bag! Those things can be dangerous....

    Alpha replied · Jan 23, 2011

Dream on, you two. Anyway, it's set on a a ship, and trust me, there's no circus muscle-man anywhere near Emma and Horatio, okay?

  • Master_Yoda
Rosey I disagree with the premise of your club and am therefore boycotting it. One can never enjoy character torture too much.

    EloquentDragon replied · Jan 18, 2011

You can't boycott a club like this...it's anarchy!

    Rosendorn replied · Jan 18, 2011

That is very easy to alter and something I just put in to not freak out any not-so-evil authors out. :P

    Master_Yoda replied · Jan 19, 2011

Wait, you changed that for me? *joins immediately*

Okay guys, I need some help. Is it crueler to toss the character int the middle of an interdimensional war, kill off their family with a gruesome plague, or make them drown in a giant flood? Post your reply as soon as you can!

    Rosendorn replied · Jan 16, 2011

Why pick? Also, whichever story the characters want to go through.

    Ranger Hawk replied · Jan 17, 2011

Depends on your character's personality and what would be the most devastating for them.

    Angela replied · Jan 17, 2011

Kill of the family with a slow plague. Or have the family all bitten by Komodo dragon. It's one of the coolest ways to kill someone.

    Kafkaescence replied · Jan 17, 2011

Oooh...I like the Komodo dragon idea...that is most devious....:D

    EloquentDragon replied · Jan 18, 2011

Have them go fight in the interdimensional war, then get wiped out by a flood during the middle of fighting, which contains a dangerous bacteria that infects kills off the survivors.

    MadameLuxestrange replied · Jan 19, 2011

    Do both!
