Also known as Role-play Notes, Line-by-Lines (LbLs) encompass anywhere from a few scribbled notes of dialogue to plotting entire scenes and even stories by what characters say and do. Some authors prefer to go it alone; but most LbLs, however, occur when two writers (the Author and the Writing Aid/Sounding Board) collaborate to work past Dialogue, Scene, or other Writer's Block.
