    The World According to Clarkson got me into column writing.

    Jack Dee's autobiography and Peter Kay's are corkers if you like comedy writing - effortlessly done.

    The House of Fiction by Susan Swingler is really, really entertaining and intriguing - like a real-life detective novel about finding an absent father.
