Once upon a time, the Fool's Duel was a bi-weekly writing contest in which a prompt would be posted and participants would have two weeks to write a piece based in the prompt.
Winners gain eternal glory! And maybe reviews or points or whatever the generous judge(s) feels like giving out. (There may be something interesting in the works, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.)
Anyway, the first Duel to celebrate the return of clubs begins today, February 8! The prompt is below, and duelists have until 5pm GMT February 22 to turn in their entries!
