Animals!?

-
You mean like Planet of the Apes? Animals taking over or something?
-
Planet of the Apes? Didn't think of that...
Well, I mean like... what will happen to us in the future. If there's going to be a gigantic tsunami or something bad. Or if there are aliens that want to take over the world... or something. I don't know, I kind of wrote that because I have a book, Physhic Pets, that is about animals that return from the grave, or animals that saved people, or animals that see into the future...
It's pretty cool, actually... -
Is it non-fiction?
-
What's non-fiction? Sorry reply to you tomorrow...

-
Non-fiction means not fictional or not made up.
-
Exactly! All of the stories are real. Well, at least, that's what it said...

-
What are a couple examples of animals coming back form the grave or seeing into the future?
-
Do you mean some stories in the book?
Umm, let's see.
There was a woman who was a nurse, and she was called every time there was an accident. Every time that happened she walked from her house to the hospital, because there wasn't a long distance between the two places. But one night she got an emergency call. The patient was hours away to death, so they called her, because her job was about saying soothing things to the patient, and they didn't wanted the patient to panic. She walked out of her house in the direction of the hospital, at night. Then, a car pulled up from behind her. Two men got out, and starting calling to her. She kept her pace, but then she noticed that the men had got on the car and were chasing her. She started to run without effort. The men got out to harm the woman, but a dog appeared out of nowhere and started growling at them. When the men were scared off, the woman realized something. That black dog was hers. His name was Nigel, and he had passed off a month ago...
Huh, creepy, don't you think?
But at the same time he had been her guardian angel...

I know what you're saying. It's called intuition. Animals' intuitions are much sharper and more accurate than humans, so, in a way, yes, they do know what is going to happen.
Take a thunderstorm. Most animals start heading for cover before the clouds even arrive. Why do they do this? Because 1) they hear the thunder from that far off, and 2) they can smell the rain approaching.
And take a man versus a dog. The dog is used to you; he knows your voice and your scent. He also lives with you, giving him/her an idea if you are nice or not; if you love the dog, it loves you back; if you beat the dog, it defends itself. It's the same with a stranger. Most people, it's obvious if they are abusive; you just have to know what to look for. It's in their carriage, their tone, their movement, and sometimes even their scent. Dogs can pick that up just as fast as you can pick up an electric shock; they know what kind of person that person is. Therefore, for me, if my dog doesn't trust somebody, I don't trust that somebody.
Another example would be a pregnant woman who doesn't know she's pregnant. This actually happened to my mom while she was carrying me. She was maybe a month along but still didn't know. Her Aussie (Australian shepherd, for those not familiar with dog show slang) became exceedingly protective of her; she would not leave my mom's side. My dad is a playful man; he likes to play fight, joke, and wrestle. Well, he started trying to wrestle with mom, and Smoky attacked him. She literally bit my dad to keep him from hurting mom. Dogs' sense of smell enables them to smell hormones (that's why our little male buddies run off and visit female doggies, 'cause they can SMELL that they wanna have babies!
), and hormones change. There is a big difference in the hormones of a sterile, an in-heat, and a pregnanted. Smoky could smell that difference. A week after all this drama occurred, my parents learned, hey, mom's pregnant.
So, it's not fictional. Fictional books concerning "psychic animals" are based on reality. -
That example's cool. Do you know any about dogs seeing the future?
Ooo, I have an Australian Shepherd too. They're really smart and protective. -
I don't know about the literally "seeing the future" part; I just know what I know, about their intuitions and all.
Yeah, Smoky was the best dog we ever had. She not only did that, but she also protected my mom from a horse, protected my dad from another dog, protected ME from SEVERAL dogs (to the point of getting badly injured), and then could herd goats and cattle on command from the time she was six months old. Hell, that dog even went and rescued abandoned puppies and raised them as her own.
But, she's dead now. She crawled off and died about six years ago. Now, we have a border collie, dachshunds, a pomeranian mix, and we just bought a doberman, but we don't have her yet; she's only a month old. So.
We have a pretty nice-sized pack running around.

Wow! That's at least five dogs. How big is your house?
