Tom wants to prove to himself that he's able to make it on his own. Since leaving his family, he's always been a bit unsure of himself.
Joe
Wants the opposite. He wants to get back to his family and lead the cushy life he's always dreamed of. -

Riiight, this may well take a while.
Aimii Lewis to find Ally, her missing little sister. She has to balance this, driving lessons, A-Levels, work, band practice/songwriting, a busy social life, managing the home (housework, shopping, bills etc.), and taking care of Ally's twin, Sara, who is a dishevelled wreck after losing Ally. This all at the age of seventeen means, naturally, she is very stressed out. Later on her goalds increase as she has to deal with the possibility of never seeing Ally again, and try to either repress or confront her feelings for Tony.
Sara Lewis to find Ally, to be able to cope in everyday situations, to forgive Sasha (the last person to have seen Ally), and to make life a little easier for Aimii.
Machelle Lewis to find her missing daughter (are you seeing a pattern here?), and to provide for Aimii and Sara even though she is touring the country looking for Ally and running a national campaign to find her.
Naomi Wallace to take care of her best friend Aimii, help her looking after Sara, and with everyday tasks, and to make her dad accept her relationship with Dec.
Mickey Peters to comfort his best friend Aimii, and to make his sister Sasha realise Ally's disappearance is not her fault.
Tony Stevens to work out why Aimii and Sara are so miserable right from when he meets them, to prove to Dec and his friends that he is something more than just simply "good for a laugh", to be nice to his "stalker" Ella without leading her to love him even more (Tony, darling, girls don't think like that...), and to tell Aimii about his developing feelings for her, and see where it leads them.

she needs to search for her brother and kill him as a revenge for murdering her parents. She opts to survive the Tournament by murdering the rest of the contestants as fast as she can before they could kill her. Furthermore, she wants to win the Tournament not only to be called the winner but also have an endless supply of tofu...
Asuka
to renew her title as an aristocrat and to control the government of her region. SHe also seeks to be the winner of the Tournament in order to udnerstand the Council's secrest so taht she can use it against them as well to find her lost sister who was a winner of the Tournament.

Lucy: to convince Keith they are meant to be together and to get over some her past in order to overcome her depression and move on.
Anna: to marry Keith and settle down. She also wants to be accepted the way she is by all the people she loves.
Keith: to make Anna understand he is not ready for such thing as marriage and solve some issues he's got with his mother. He wants to be free of the pressure he's under.
Trudy: to understand her daughter and improve her relationship with her. To give support to Lucy on the best way she can and show her she can always find a family with her aunt and uncle.
George: to convince his wife she doesn't need to pretend to be someone else so people will accept her and provide her with support.

Ayden = He is trying to just put aside a traumatic experience in the past. To prevent the experience from happening again, he plans to not open up to anyone.
Hayley = She's trying to figure out her sexuality, which Ayden can help with. She also wants to figure out her feelings for her best friend, who she kissed.
Connor = He's trying to get away from the hypocrisy of his clique. He thinks Ayden is the perfect way of letting go, and thus follows him around all the time. (Can we say 'lawl'?) He is also struggling with the fact that he's gay. -

Mary Jane: turn Marshall into the person she wants him to be

Lila Winters~ To find her beloved older brother at all costs. She's gone agianst socey's way of how women should be (i.e. dressing as a man, cutting her hair short, even cussing/drinking), destroyed her over-bearing, frugal mother's dreams (no one in the Victorian Era would marry a girl permantly blind in her right eye and resigned to wear an eyepatch would they?), and traveling hundreds of miles to France to find him. If she can't find Joel....she doesn't know what she'd do.
Joel Winters~To stay hidden for as long as humanly possible. There are some things that shouldn't be messed with....such as taunting demons from Hell with so called "power"...and now Joel's paying for it.
Owen Massey~Lila's personal Belfast born and bred butler/servant who is madly in love with her, wants nothing more then to help her find his friend Joel. And to forgive himself for brutally scaring Lila's eye (Yes Owen is a werewolf and no Lila doesn't know it....yet
. He hurt Lila when they were kids (he's about six years older then her so...he'd be like 13. At the time of the story he's 23) and ever since he's beaten himself over it.
Acel Moreau~A young French shepard who was bitten by a wolf (in my story, bitten people run the risk of going insane when they change from man to wolf too many times. Owen and his older brother Cecil are wolves by genetics so they're safe), only wants to care for Isabelle, a pre-teen girl suffering from selective muteism and to get Lila to admit she likes him since he feels the same for her. Acel is the same age as Lila...16
Cecil Massey~To take his little brother Owen back to the Irish pack...whether he wants to go or not.
Isabelle~To talk. She's the youngest at 12.
Lady Roxane Segal ~ Slightly high French noblilty, she belives Joel Winters is the human who has been slaying werewolves. She wants him dead and she'll do anyhting to get it.

If you people know anything at all about the Victorian Era (i think I can get the way they speak down, but everything else I need help with) , it would be much appreacted. I know a lil about it and since this is my first historcal "novel" with a flair of supernatural, I want to be as historically acurate at I can be, such as in the way they dress, their society. Thank yalll for the help!
