In his poems, Zee kept mentioning that Yorick was the "warp and woof." I think whatever the secret is, Yorick is the key to it.
Yorick also wrote a cryptic poem about the "hands that I seek" or something - that could be reference to the blue hand/paw prints?
I definitely saw something come into our world through the portal but they modified most of my memories, and whatever little I remembered, I was told not to disclose otherwise I'd face consequences. There's nothing of substance I remember though. I just remember vague images that Zee described in his parting poem, that's all I can really recall at the moment.

But is Yorick the key himself, or is he the only one who has the keys and in that way he is the key?
