Eye colour: bright, unnaturally pale grey
Hair colour: Currently a mix of various poorly dyed blue fingers interspersed with pink or purple strands, but since Carmen rarely bothers with regrowth, her original chestnut brown appears from time to time.
Favourite shoes/footwear: Hiking boots. She has one pair that she claims brings her luck
Special skills/abilities: Carmen can see the footprints of souls wandering the world, although she calls them shadows. They are usually walking "shadows" aimlessly wandering the world. Seeing a particularly large number of shadows in one place used to put her into a kind of trance, especially as a child.
Favourite movies/TV shows: X-Files. She fell in love with the series as a teenager and still rewatches her favourite episodes when she's bored at work. Considering her job, it's quite goofy.
Favourite clothing style/outfit: If she's not wearing the tattered cargo pants and dark burgundy windbreaker typical of her department, you know something is wrong. She has watches on both wrists (one manual, one digital) and she never misses her sunglasses with bright mustard lenses.
Quirks/eccentricities: Because of her work, she always has several watches with her (manual, digital, hourglass, a stick for making sundials and a pocket watch for her great-grandfather). She strictly does not take off her sunglasses. Despite her work, she does not believe in any conspiracy theories.
Philosophy of life/motto: Just because she cannot be skeptical when it comes to the supernatural because of her gift does not mean that she cannot be skeptical when it comes to everything else.
Positive traits: she approaches her work with extraordinary precision, has a sharp mind and analytical thinking
Negative traits: from one second to the next, she can turn from a genius focused on the goal and nothing else to the most stubborn and obnoxious person on the planet
Things that upset them: In Carmen's eyes, the worst thing you can be is stupid. Only thing worse than being stupid is being boring. -

Locations: space station, the Moon and the Other Moon are mentioned, but the story mainly stays on the station. There's also lot of talk about Earth and Mars, but we don't actually visit either of those.
