In this tournament, there is not one ending. There are choices to be made—choices for you to make—and they will alter what you see along the way.
In the first round, you will have three prompts to choose from. In the second, you will have two prompts to choose from—but these two prompts depend on what you chose in the first round. In the third...well, you'll just have to see.
In this tournament, prompts will be PMed to the combatants when a new round begins to preserve the privacy of alternate prompts. It's not as important in the first round as the second and third, but let's see where these choices take us, yes?
Combatants may submit a short story or a nonfiction piece for this tournament, each under 5000 words. They will have four days to write before submissions are due and voting commences.
The first round will begin 03/21/2016 18:00 GMT or when the roster fills, whichever is later than the other.

Guys, I would love for this tournament to happen, but if it doesn't happen, it just doesn't happen. I can always reschedule for a better time (or hand it to another host in a couple of months), so if this tournament isn't full by March 30th in my timezone, I'm going to have to cancel it. I have too much going on in the month of April, especially as it nears the end, to worry about a half-dead tournament.
