We sometimes end up having to change something in our works that we really like, but doesn't quite fit in anymore. So, instead of being afraid to delete it and lose it forever, why not post it here and share it with your fellow YWSers? ^^

We’ve been in tough situations before and we’ve always gotten through them. But how? We kept going. We pushed through our troubles and fought like hell. We didn't take failure as an option. We took the sadness and hate and guilt and turned it into gumption, defiance and determination. And if we hope to get through this too, we’re going to need those things by the wagonload. This is the worst time to give up. So I take a deep breath, push myself to my feet and instead of giving up, I get up.
Maybe I can use some variation of this in the future, but it just wasn't right for where I had it or for the character who was saying it.
