I usually draw on paper, but lately I've been wanting to get more into digital painting. Can anybody recommend any good programs that you use for painting with a computer?

I use Serif Drawplus, which (if you get it on sale) is affordable and easy to use. It works good with my Wacom Intuos and I'd recommend it =)

This summer I'm going to be painting some, er, window boards (as in boards that cover then windows on old buildings). Just talked with the lady that owns the place and my "boss" (I'm volunteering, so you know) and it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun, actually. My job is going to be to draw out the designs so that the group of teens we're working with can paint them.

I'm really nervous... But super excited at the same time! I'm hoping to share pictures eventually.
