   This week people were interviewed and asked "what are your writing rituals" for an article. Now it's your turn to share your writing rituals. You can post and share your rituals here.
   
   Rituals can be anything you do before/while you write.
   Examples: having a cup of coffee, eating a certain food (or any food in general), or listening to certain music.

   Hmm. These days I don't really write except for Squills articles, haha. Um, I don't have any real rituals except that I definitely can't write lying down the way I usually watch YouTube videos or something. I have to be sitting at a desk. And I usually can't write if someone else is in the room. I like to be private and focused.

   I know what you mean about someone else in the room! It is so bothersome to think that someone's looking over your shoulder when you're just working on a draft!
   
   My process depends. If I don't have a song stuck in my head, I have to have it quiet. If I do, well, then I need classical music so that I'm not distracted by wanting to sing along XD

   Haha, even if they're not and they're completely focused on doing something else, I get distracted by the other person's presence. ㅠㅠ
   
   And weird! I can only write to music I don't know. If it's something I know, I'm tempted to sing along. Even if it's classical, I'll follow the melody I know, so it would have to be new music, which is hard because I also don't want it to be a different vibe from what I'm writing. So generally, no music for me. xD

   XD I have run into that myself, singing along to classical.
   
   Honestly my dad's something of a classical buff so I know I just need to update my songs
   
   It's horrible isn't it? T_T' [writing with someone close]
