There are many instances in which an animal might have made a major impact on your life, or for that matter, without said animal you wouldn't exist at all! We do have a few requirements though...
1. All entries will be entered by July 31st, no exceptions!
2. If it's insanely inappropriate, please don't use it. I don't want anything rated beyond 12+.
3. No pressure! Have fun with it! If you feel like it, maybe exaggerate a little (like if a dog saved you from a bear, you could exaggerate the size of the bear)
I have earned a few extra points since review day, so the prizes will be a little more than I intended.
1st Place: 300 points, 4 reviews, and a gift of your choice!
2nd Place: 100 points, and 3 reviews.
3rd Place: 75 points, and 2 reviews.

So... I've been researching animal heroes lately and I've found some interesting stories about dolphins protecting humans from Great White Sharks. I'm just not sure about writing a cliche killer shark story. What do you think? Should I try something else?
