This is the character adoption of place?
Zuyli- Female
African, black hair, luscious brown eyes, tall, scrawny, missing a finger.
Quiet, reserved. Always smiling sadly. Loves to draw and be with animals. Adventurous, risky. Hardly laughs.
When she was five, she had to work for her master as a slave. Her family owed too much and they couldn't manage to keep her, so they sold her off as a slave to a rich white man. Her finger was cut off when she disobeyed an order from her master. She hasn't seen her family since she was five.
