I think Hunger Games could have done without it, it wasn't ruined, but it certainly wasn't enhanced.

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. They movie was awful. They concentrated so much on the romance leaving behind the really good things the book had to offer.

Article 5- a seemingly fantastic dystopia about an immoral country and government ruled only by morals and the Moral Statues. Or so I thought. I got a free excerpt of the first two chapters, absolutely zero romance except for a few minor characters. The rest of the entire freaking book was romance, romance, romance. There was absolutely nothing dystopian abut it other than they were occasionally interrupted by having to run from the 'moral militia'. It was awful. I actually could not finish it, and I never stop in the middle of books. Anyway, that concludes my rant.

Despicable Me 2. A perfectly funny movie that was train wrecked by romance.

Pheonix by Elizabeth Richards. The second book in a series, it follows Ash (who at the end of the book has a very bad day of getting crucified, burned to a crisp and momentarily dying) and Natalie (his unlikely girlfriend). It wwas a very good book, and it was one of the very few books where romance actually helps the story along. B

Oops. Stupid computer.
But in the second book, it is ruined by the universal crutch that writers seem to love to use, namely a love triangle. I had to stop reading. I had to stop reading so I wouldn't have the first book ruined forever because of that.
