  2. Breathe:
Aly Milan's life revolves around three things; School, singing, and her friends. But mainly just her closest friend Kaitlyn McCarthy.
Aly is mostly known as just another girl in school, but that all changes when the guy she's liked for ages(Since fourth grade to be exact) finally notices her- Well, they were paired up for a science project, but that was all she needed.

    Cameron Veloz.

He is the tan, popular, sweet, funny, chill-at-the-beach-to-surf guy that most of the girls fall for, and of course, including Aly.

During the weeks of a newborn friendship, he decides to admit he likes her...
And almost all the other girls in the school too, without any of them knowing about it.
Until the word spreads like a wild fire about Kaitlyn.

Now, with hand-drawn hearts surrounding her binder, Aly waits for Valentine's Day for him to finally ask him out.
But during those few weeks, tears fall, drama grows, and confused hearts attack Blake High School.

    I Love Who?:
May was kicked out of her house two years ago, and now she's living healthily by herself as a rogue werewolf with no friends. One crazy night, she decides that going back into school might be a good idea, but she guessed incorrectly.
In this school, it's a lot different from your average high, but in a way, it's almost exactly the same.
There are werewolf packs, popular people, losers, jocks, and just... Other people. It was all good until first period came along when May became a target to date for one alpha, and the a target to terminate for the other.
She has friends on each pack, but soon her time will run out and she'll have to pick a side; will she go for the guy with the looks but the snotty girlfriend? Or her closest friend, but the rude alpha.
Both choices seem decent, but as a teenage girl and werewolf, things do not come easy her way.

    Salt:
Welcome to the nerd life. Or the dork life... Well... She could also be a dweeb...

But anyways, Jacquelyn Ramsey is a fifteen year old girl with lengthy blond natural hair and a tall body that has little to no curves.
She has a decent amount of friends, but has no history in boyfriends.
This week, she is beyond excited. Why?

This Spring Break will be the best in her history, or so she hopes.

She'll be going on her first cruise that will last a whopping seven days!
During the cruise, as in, the first step on the boat, as she was heading for the sweet smelling buffet, she smacked right into someone.
And of course not just anyone, a hot, sexy, tan, muscular guy, that looks about her age.
Even though they are complete opposites, they are both surely attracted to each other.
Minutes afterwards, they escape one another and go about with their lives, except they were both secretly stalking each other, whether it was in the Enchanted Forest on level three, or the putt-putt golf on the top deck.

What happens between the lines? Does this fun cruise turn into a 'love' boat?

    Crash:
Mya Swan is the perfect teen: She has the looks, the guys, the style, and the parents. She is the most popular girl in school and there is nothing that could stop her from being 'Little Miss Perfect'.... Or is there? Mya will face pain, fear, heart breaks, and worst of all... Loss. That is, until she finds someone new, someone who speaks for themselves and doesn't care about his, appearances others appearances. But all that might have a reason. Will this be a happy ending? Will there be a happily ever after? Or is that all fairy tale junk?

    Mesmerized:
Katalia doesn't have much of a life, there are many restrictions her father has created, but maybe moving to a small town will help things.

It does. She finds out many odd things about the town neither her father or herself knew about, which is a bit creepy at first. Now, she has some questions, and the only person who can answer them, is a ghost from the past.

During that process, she falls for the hot trouble maker next door that likes to play her like a board game.

    Knots:
Tied to a tree in a country farm backyard, Tabitha Greene hasn't had much of a life. She's currently seventeen and has never escaped ever since her adopter had taken her from the foster home at five years old. Tabitha never expected this, if she would have known, she'd refuse to leave the foster home. Sadly, she had been cocky and foolish, and also five years old.
She gets fed a slice of bread each day and one glass of water. Her body is literally skin and bones. If she tried to run away, she'd be punished with no food for two days, which only happened once. Now, her muscles were too weak to even move.

Will there be a savior in her life to free her? Or will she wait until the keeper's death, then suffer on her own.

Here are all of my stories, except for the one I posted in for 35k words, that one was just an idea that had no plan and it just goes from there :) I'd recommend the one on my Welcome thread, for it's closest to the 50k mark of mine, but any story works :)

*Some stories are as short as 1k words.
  3. I basically summarized my plots in the intro post, but I guess I could use the moment to flesh out my characters for everyone (at least, for the two stories which have named and ready characters)!

-In Amaranths, there are three POVs:

Evelyn Graham, an 18-year-old human girl who is known for her kind, but sometimes sensitive, heart among a team of often argumentative individuals. She is a bit plump, but still has basic fitness, has light blonde, military buzzed hair, grey eyes, and fair skin (to put it very plainly).

Analie Thetcher, a 24-year-old human girl who is very determined and obsessed with space. She is good with her hands when it comes to technical things and always there when a problem arises involving it. She is a bit of a defeatist, though, and sometimes makes worry of things that one should not focus so much on. She is a short gal, roughly around 5'3", with a puff of short, curly auburn locks, hazel eyes, and fair skin.

Xeno Zalkic, an enyae at 149 years of age who is the leader of the group in Amaranths. He is irritable and serious at times, but still helpful and dedicated to both work and personal relations. He stands a 6 feet, has short black hair that is often tied back in a teensy ponytail, has dark eyes, and light tan skin.

I'll just keep it to these three, but there are plenty more (maybe we should create a character thread?).

-In Innate, there are two characters that are the main focus during most of the story:

Nadette Williams (POV), a 20-year-old human woman who is courageous and highly independent after fending for herself for most of her years following the alien invasion. She is sassy at times and one of those people you actively work to stay on the good list of people she can tolerate. She is 5' 8" with chestnut skin, close cropped, black hair, and light, gold-brown eyes that really show off her fierceness.

Walter, a surviving Morphous who claimed Nadette's nick of the woods as his own. Being his subhuman kind are more animal than human, he is aggressive and dominate in nature, giving off a alpha male type of vibe to all who come in contact with him. He does well to protect Nadette and tend to her if she needs it, though they make a better tag team than playing the role of guardian and subject. Walter looks like most other remain Morphous with a bald head, sunken black eyes, tall, lean structure, and skin pale in contrast to their skin tone (his being quite fair).
  4. Those sound like pretty good characters. I love the name Nadette :)

I'll create a character thread right away.
  5. Thanks! Nadette means "courage like a bear" and I found it appropriate to name her so.

I would love to see your character in greater detail on the character thread when you get the chance.

I want to see people turn and writhe; make them feel things they cannot see and sometimes do not know.
