Before, no, they wouldn't know.
When the Puppeteers come to their world, then yes, the Puppets would find out. I was thinking, maybe the Puppeteers could appear at the place where the Puppet they'll still be able to control is..?
Oh, and also. I figured why would the Puppeteers even survive xD If they get killed (even if they die of sickness or old age), their Puppets die as well. That way, the Puppets will have to protect them, even though they'd probably hate them :p

I like the idea of a good puppet character and evil puppet character, that way there's conflict, besides, if I were to join this SB, then a lot of people will believe my characters are entirely backwards.

I will have a Puppeteer good girl and a bohemian guy (?) Puppet for my POV characters.. And a Very Bad Guy as the npc, being the Puppet the girl gets to control.
Yes, I even already have the appearances and histories <.>
