Tell me what type of art do you prefer? I like plain sketching and pastel drawings.
-
I prefer drawing with black and white shading, with some pixel art on the side. But I will hopefully get a drawing tablet for Christmas this year

-
That sounds like fun. You merge two types of art. Now that's called creativity.

Thanks for the review on my chibi drawing!

Glad to see it. I saw your pixel art too. It's amazing. And about the dragons, where do you get all the ideas about the shades and wings and fur? They were pretty awesome as well.

I am into sketching mainly but I also kinda' like painting although I am far better at sketching than painting.

Sketching comes first. I usually use pencil colours in most of my drawings and sometimes I use poster colours for non-detailed drawings. When I was 15, I used to collect written jokes from the internet and then make fun caricatures. And I used to draw comics too (They are the hardest!!)
And I am a fan of Fashion Art too
[you can see, I like trying everything that lies under the art category] -
I just come up with them actually. Not sure how it exactly happens..

I know what you mean Starlight9. Comic book writing is very hard. I still have my unfinished comic book on my shelf. I don' get the time to finish it.
By the way, shiney, do you use GIMP for pixel art? -
Yup

I sketch using primarily: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Pencil, and Paintbrush. I occasionally go traditional with a 2H or 6B pencil and pad, but I prefer using my Wacom Pen & Touch. Can't say I do much realism, but it isn't as stylized as what I commonly see.
Speaking of comics, I have Manga Studio Debut 4, but haven't had the guts to use it. I don't feel quite "good enough" to work on it. >>; Story of my life, man. -
I don't feel like I'm good enough to use the tablet so i just try to get better. That's my story. =P

Hmm, really now? That's an interesting take.

I really don't think I have an art type...
I think it depends on my mood I guess. -
I like just plain sketching, with just a number 2 pencil. (Probably because it's all I can do, but whatever)
