This is late but to quote Robert A. Heinlein

"Don't ever become a pessimist, Ira; a pessimist is correct oftener than an optimist, but an optimist has more fun--and neither can stop the march of events.%u201D

My view summed up in those words

The moment when we've finished work, dropped off any students that needed a ride home, and pull into the parking space in the garage beneath my apartment, when obba demands his driving fee of a kiss, and the day's work is complete.

    Homework. It's draining.

    Or exams. They're draining too.

1)Writing two novels in one summer! (I was on cloud nine. And they sucked. But oh, well.)
    2) Winning third-place in a national competition. (That day was both the awesome-est and most embarrassing day ever all in one!)

    ToritheMonster replied · Feb 10, 2013

I think the month might be a little off.

  • Hannah replied · Feb 8, 2013

I like August 'cause it has my birthday and is a whole lotta summer. 8D

If you had to name your child October, September, or February, which one would you choose and why? Why not the other names? And you MUST choose one.

    Piper replied · Nov 28, 2011

February, because you could call the kid Rory.

    Demeter replied · Nov 28, 2011

February, I think. I just think it's a nice word, and maybe sounds most like a name.

    Alpha replied · Nov 28, 2011

October, cos that's when my birthday is! :)

    purpleandblue22 replied · Nov 28, 2011

September, because although I hate giving up my summer, I love the way that time of year feels. Also, I just like the name (hey, I like odd names!).

    EnchantedPanda replied · Nov 29, 2011

February it sounds more like a name than the others.

    Amfliflier replied · Nov 29, 2011

I think September or February. Most likely February. :)

    Funkymomo replied · Nov 29, 2011

September if it's a boy, February if it's a girl.

What is your favorite Christmas treat? ( it can be a seasonal candy, baked good, dish, etc. And please pick just one, and you can explain if you wish :) )

    Piper replied · Nov 19, 2011

Well, I don't know if they're just a Christmas candy, but I have always loved getting those chocolate oranges in my stocking.

    Alz replied · Nov 19, 2011

In the case of poetry, what is only ONE thing about poetry in general that you feel people get wrong or needs to be done away with? For you personally? And remember, no debates and disrespecting people's opinions.

    writerwithacause replied · Nov 18, 2011

    Rhyme is overrated. Nuff said.

    EnchantedPanda replied · Nov 18, 2011

I know most poems are free verse but a lot of the time the lack of punctuation in poems bothers me.

    purpleandblue22 replied · Nov 18, 2011

I hate poems that go on for too long about nothing. (In school we had to read one that went on for 5-6 pages about just snow).

    Amfliflier replied · Nov 21, 2011

When people rhyme every single line. Especially right after each other. Roses are read, now you're dead, violets are blue, I miss you. So annoying!

    Funkymomo replied · Nov 29, 2011

poetry that goes so deep you have to pause an think about it which ruins the flow. :P

Toast with raspberry jam and cheddar cheese. Seriously, I know it sounds weird, but it is awesome!

    purpleandblue22 replied · Nov 17, 2011

Squid. Definatly. Apparently people where I live don't like seafood much, especially when they look distincly like Squidward.

Goat meat and cow foot. Quite tasty, but people are to afraid to try it ( more for me )

    Amfliflier replied · Nov 18, 2011
