    ADVICE TIP 1#
If you have a great idea, never write it straight away! Write down ur idea, then think about it for ages... and then when ur ready, write it! :D

I've got a writers block. I can't think of a good name for the bad guy in the story :( and I also need to think of his evil schemes...

    megsug replied · Oct 10, 2011

Often, I'll just use a really crappy name that I can't stand for a name with the knowledge that eventually, a name will come. That's one of the least important aspects of writing in my opinion. For is evil schemes, what is the end goal you're looking for? Okay, find a midpoint or even a quarterpoint and take it from there. How is your bad guy going to attempt to stop you protagonist from reaching that point? What kind of confrontation are they going to have? How is his character going to be affected, if at all? That's what I do anyway. Maybe it will work for you.

  • skebe replied · Oct 3, 2011

Well... first of all, what do you lyk writing about? e.g fantasy, nonfiction, horror...:)

    skebe replied · Oct 3, 2011

Next, thing of an idea...Ideas are EVERYWHERE! But I often turn to my dreams for inspiration. Think of situations you could be in... maybe even pretend you ARE in that situation... one thing will lead to annother and... all of a sudden you have a brilliant idea! :D

    skebe replied · Oct 3, 2011

Now... before you start writing, you need to plan out your story (Know exactly what happens)! I'd suggest having a few ideas be4 u start! :)

    skebe replied · Oct 3, 2011

Finally... you're ready to write! use ur own style (don't copy someone else). :D make sure you know what ur doing before ur write things, and if ur character gets in trouble, know how they're gonna get outta it! :D
